Futurise was honoured to attend PDPA Connect: Strengthening Digital Trust 2026 and the launch of three new guidelines under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709), officiated by Deputy Minister of Digital (Kementerian Digital), YB Datuk Wilson Ugak Kumbong at Le Méridien Putrajaya on 30 April 2026.
The newly launched guidelines, Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA), Data Protection by Design (DPbD), and Automated Decision-Making & Profiling (ADMP), mark an important step towards strengthening digital trust, responsible data governance, and accountability in Malaysia’s evolving digital ecosystem.
Representing Futurise at the event was Head of Ecosystem Innovation, Dr. Andi Rossi, as a key representative of Jabatan Perlindungan Data Peribadi Malaysia’s strategic partner in the development of these newly launched guidelines.
