The Majestic Theatre Penang is located at the heart of George Town, within the UNESCO Heritage site. Built in 1929, Majestic Theatre which was the first cinema in Penang to screen Chinese talkies. The theatre was built by Khoo Sian Ewe who was a prominent philanthropist at that time. The theatre was left abandoned since 1980 and has now been restored to become a contemporary multipurpose events sp

ace. The Majestic Theatre is a versatile space which is perfect for events such as film screenings, weddings, performances, balls, exhibitions and sports related activities. There are 2 different spaces within Majestic Theatre which can cater for small intimate gatherings as well as larger scale events such as wedding dinners.
