We had a fantastic meeting on April 22nd! While we usually host external guests, this time we tapped into the incredible talent within our own ranks.
Our very own **Rotarian Ryan** took the floor to lead a powerful session on

Connecting the Dots in Business. He shared brilliant insights on how to build complete solutions on top of the product.

It was an evening of sharp professional growth mixed with the great fellowship that defines our club. Thank you, Ryan, for proving that sometimes the best inspiration is found right here at home!

Our March 25 Business Meeting at the historic Eastern & Oriental Hotel reminded us that Rotary is more than meetings — it is about connection, growth, and shared purpose.

We welcomed James Beh into our Rotary family, shared wisdom on wellbeing through an inspiring talk on foot health by Ms. Win Win Htet, and, as always, paused to celebrate life with our monthly birthday cake cutting — a simple tradition that speaks volumes about friendship and care. 🎂💙

💧 March Theme: Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) Month 💧

March highlights one of Rotary’s most life-changing areas of focus:
ensuring clean water, proper sanitation, and good hygiene for every community.
Around the world, millions still struggle with access to safe drinking water — something many of us take for granted. Rotary works to change this through sustainable projects, education, and community partnerships.

Here in Penang, we can play our part by:
Supporting efforts that promote clean water and public health
Raising awareness about proper hygiene and environmental care
Encouraging responsible water use in our homes and workplaces

Our International Director and Assistant Governor, Stephanie Wong, presented Chinese New Year goodies to the patients and nurses at our dialysis centre, sharing festive cheer and heartfelt appreciation.

The goodies were generously sponsored by San Jiang Temple, whose kindness helped bring warmth and joy to the celebration.

A meaningful gesture that reflects the true spirit of care, compassion and community this Chinese New Year. 🧧✨

The meeting on 11 February 2026 was a meaningful and eventful evening. We were delighted to witness the induction of Mr Lazlo as a new Rotarian.

President-Elect Michel shared updates from the recent District Training, keeping members informed and aligned for the year ahead.

We also had an insightful talk by Penang Future Foundation, highlighting their inspiring efforts in supporting deserving students through education.

An evening of growth, learning and Rotary fellowship.

The Fellowship Meeting was held on 28 January 2026 at the Penang Club, Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, George Town, Penang.

President Chandra shared an interesting and practical talk on using DISC for effective communication, highlighting how understanding Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness, together with Neuro-Linguistic Programming, can enhance the way we communicate.

We were honoured by the presence of PDG Dr Baskaran, Ms Sandhavi from the Annette Club of RC Guindy, Ms Tanu from the Annette Club of RC Chennai Crown, and Dr Rama and Mr Rama, former Rotarians from the dissolved RC Sungai Petani.

A meaningful evening of learning, fellowship and warm Rotary camaraderie.

Exciting Collaboration Ahead!
On 14th January, President Chandra, together with International Director AG Stephanie, President‑Elect Michel, and Treasurer Dato Seri Tan Gin Soon, met with Penang Mayor Datuk A. Rajendran.
The Mayor expressed strong support for partnering with RC Penang and the City Council on several upcoming community projects for the benefit of Penang’s residents.
