Chang Kah Loon, the St. John Ambulance of Malaysia AK Academy Combined Adult Division (AKCAD) was established in 2015, in accordance with the St. John Ambulance of Malaysia (Incorporation) Act No. 74 of 1972 and its amendment, Act No. A230 of 1974. AKCAD operates under AK Academy 勤 略 学

院, a member of the AK VENTURES BERHAD Maritime Logistics Group of Companies in Malaysia. AKCAD held its inaugural Annual General Meeting on 25 February 2016 (Thursday) at 1800 hrs at AK Academy 勤 略 学 院. The meeting was graced by distinguished guests, including Dato' Seri Log. Dr. Yee Thiam Sun (State Commander of SJAM Penang), Dato' Log. Chang Kah Loon, and Log. Amy Ooi Ai Mi. With the support of St. John Ambulance Malaysia, State of Penang, and the tireless efforts of our Founding President, Dato' Log. Chang Kah Loon, AKCAD was upgraded to St. John Ambulance Malaysia AK Academy Corps (马 来 西 亚 圣 约 翰 救 伤 队 勤 略 学 院 联 队) (AK Corps) on 17 September 2018. AK Corps now consists of three divisions: AKCAD I, AKCAD II, and AKCAD III. It is the 2nd Corps in Malaysia, alongside the USM Corps.

Great! We're looking forward to attending the LogM Logistician Admission Ceremony 2026 on 28 November 2026 at 2 PM.

Our AK Academy, under the leadership of our Prof. Dato' Log. Ts. Dr. Chang Kah Loon (拿督曾家麟博士教授), PhD (USM), FCILT, FLogM, via several academic and professional collaborations, has trained and produced more than 600 professional logisticians in Malaysia.

Congratulations to our Corps President, Log. Ts. Amy Ooi Ai Mi (黄佳宓物流师), FCILT, FLogM, on her additional assignment as the Assistant Registrar for Genovasi University College (GUC), besides holding the role of Deputy Dean of SOLSC at the same university in Malaysia.

Every year, the AK VENTURES BERHAD Annual Dinner brings us together to celebrate not only the company’s growth, but also the journey of our people.

Over the years, we have seen colleagues grow from being single, to getting married, becoming parents, and even grandparents. Familiar faces reunite, new milestones are celebrated, and our Long Service Awards recognise those who have grown together with the Group.
