Humility, on the other hand,

受难周是如何开始的？
始于基督骑着驴进入耶路撒冷。
在圣经时代，君王出行可选马或驴。
马象征战争、权势和征服；
驴却代表和平与谦卑。

-The serving humility of CHRIST-
How did the Passion Week begin?
It began with Christ riding into Jerusalem on a donkey.
In biblical times, kings could choose to either
ride on a horse or a donkey.
The animal of choice would reflect the purpose that the king had in mind.
Horses were mostly associated with war, power and military conquest.
On the other hand, donkeys were chosen for times of peace and portrayed humility.

In a move that must have surprised everyone,
He welcomed the children, blessed them and even

He did it to carry out all that God required of him.
The baptism was more than just the rites.
It displayed His humility in that He willingly submitted to authority though He was God incarnate.

The birth of Jesus began with the annunciation to Mary by the angel Gabriel in Nazareth.
The angel said she would conceive a son by the Holy Spirit and name him Jesus because He would save
his people from their sins.
