EMS Penang First Responder Ambulance, founded in 2015, is a non-governmental non-profit organization (NGO) dedicated to providing rapid emergency medical response in Penang. We are Non Profit Non Governmental Organization aimed to serve the community in terms of responding to those who needs medical attention in the fastest way by mobilizing our medic motorcycles. Initially during establishment, O

ur role as a First Responder is to guide and assess any medical/trauma cases before the arrival of Pre-Hospital Care services. We aim to arrive at as early as possible and aim in reducing the risk of further complications and to save ones life. As time goes by, we heard the communities voices as what they needed, therefore we sourced and added an ambulance to our fleet and continue in providing and giving back to them as many additional services as we can. Currently, we also support pandemic cases such as Covid positive transfer and quarantine individuals other requests. Our members consist of various full time staffs and volunteers with various levels of medical knowledge ranging Basic Life Support, Basic Ambulance Care, Intermediate Ambulance Care, International Trauma Life Support, Doctors and nurses.

OMNI Presence Report – Routine Voluntary Safety Round and Standby
Date: 30 August 2026
Location: Penang Botanical Gardens, Penang Youth Park & Surrounding Areas

EMS-PFR conducted a routine OMNI Presence Safety Round and standby at major community exercise area with high volune of visitors and tourist.

The patrol was carried out to maintain a visible emergency-response presence, monitor general safety conditions, and provide assistance should any emergency or public safety incident arise.

The routine presence also supports community safety awareness and strengthens EMS-PFR's readiness to respond promptly when required.

🚨 Senior Citizen, Body Weakness

Response
EMS-PFR Medic Bike Responder BRAVO 03 responded to a case of body weakness involving a resident, a senior citizen staying alone, with mobility issue, at home in Block B, Flat Padang Tembak.

The casualty was assessed on scene and provided with the necessary initial medical assistance. The patient was advised and referred for further medical assistance.

Thank you note to MPKK PADANG TEMBAK and Pusat Aktiviti Warga Emas Bkt Bendera staff, together in helping at scene performing the assesment, cleaning up, and communicate with patients relatives.

Response
EMS-PFR Medic Bike Responder BRAVO 03 attended the scene immediately and provided on-site patient assessment and initial medical assistance.

The casualty was subsequently transported by Hospital Pulau Pinang (HPP) Ambulance for further medical treatment.

PDRM was also on scene and assisted with traffic control and maintaining scene safety throughout the incident.
