Saya mengambil maklum kenyataan yang dikeluarkan oleh YB ADUN Likas berhubung perjalanan sidang Dewan Undangan Negeri baru-baru ini.
Sebagai wakil rakyat yang masih baharu dalam Dewan, saya berpandangan YB tersebut seharusnya mengambil pendekatan untuk memahami terlebih dahulu tatacara, adab serta semangat sebenar perbahasan DUN sebelum mengeluarkan kenyataan yang boleh mengelirukan rakyat dan mewujudkan persepsi negatif terhadap institusi Dewan.
Dalam membangkitkan sesuatu isu, lebih-lebih lagi melibatkan kawasan orang lain, adalah lebih baik sekiranya fakta diperoleh terus daripada pihak berautoriti seperti Pegawai Daerah (DO), agensi kerajaan berkaitan ataupun lawatan rasmi ke kawasan tersebut, dan bukannya hanya berpandukan gambar, laporan atau maklumat daripada individu yang latar belakang serta kesahihannya tidak diketahui.
Sebagai wakil rakyat, kita perlu bertanggungjawab terhadap setiap kenyataan yang dibuat. Jangan terlalu cepat mencari publisiti murahan dengan memainkan isu tanpa memahami situasi sebenar di lapangan.
Saya juga ingin menegaskan bahawa setiap kawasan mempunyai wakil rakyat masing-masing yang sentiasa turun padang dan memantau perkembangan semasa. Jika benar ingin membantu atau mendapatkan gambaran sebenar mengenai sesuatu isu di kawasan lain, datanglah sendiri melihat keadaan di lapangan, bertemu rakyat serta pihak pentadbiran daerah, bukannya hanya membuat andaian dari luar.
YB ADUN Likas juga seharusnya memberi fokus kepada kebajikan dan isu-isu di kawasan Likas sendiri yang masih memerlukan perhatian dan penyelesaian.
Apa yang lebih penting ialah semua wakil rakyat perlu bekerjasama secara matang dan profesional demi kepentingan rakyat, bukannya menjadikan Dewan sebagai pentas untuk membina persepsi politik atau meraih perhatian murahan.
Saya kekal komited untuk terus bekerja dan berkhidmat kepada rakyat di kawasan N.48 Sugut dengan penuh tanggungjawab dan keikhlasan.

I take note of the statement issued by the YB ADUN Likas regarding the recent State Legislative Assembly sitting.
As a relatively new representative in the Assembly, I believe the YB should first take the time to fully understand the procedures, decorum and true spirit of debates in the August House before issuing statements that may mislead the public and create negative perceptions towards the institution.
When raising issues, especially those involving other constituencies, it is always better to obtain facts directly from the relevant authorities such as the District Officer (DO), government agencies, or through official visits to the affected areas, rather than relying solely on photographs, reports or information from individuals whose background and credibility are unknown.
As elected representatives, we must be responsible for every statement we make. We should not be too eager to seek cheap publicity by sensationalising issues without fully understanding the actual situation on the ground.
I would also like to stress that every constituency has its own elected representative who continuously monitors and addresses local issues. If there is genuine intention to help or understand the real situation in another constituency, then come personally to the area, meet the people and engage with the district administration instead of making assumptions from afar.
The YB ADUN Likas should also focus on the welfare and unresolved issues within the Likas constituency itself, which still require serious attention and solutions.
What matters most is that all elected representatives work together in a mature and professional manner for the benefit of the people, instead of turning the Assembly into a platform for political perception-building or attention-seeking.
I remain fully committed to continuing my service and responsibilities to the people of N.48 Sugut with sincerity and dedication.

鉴于近日州议会会议进程一事，本人就里卡士区州议员所发表的言论作出回应。
作为议会中仍属新人的人民代议士，本人认为，有关州议员应先了解州立法议会的议事规则、礼仪及辩论的真实精神，之后再发表言论，以免误导民众并对议会机构产生负面观感。
在提出某项议题时，尤其是涉及他人选区的事务，更理想的做法是直接从相关权威单位——如县官（DO）、相关政府机构或通过正式造访该区——获取事实依据，而非仅仅依据背景及真实性不明的个人所提供的照片、报告或信息。
身为人民代议士，我们必须对自己发表的每一句话负责。切勿为了博取廉价宣传而急于在未了解实地真实情况之前炒作议题。
本人亦想强调，每个选区都各有其人民代议士，他们一直亲赴基层，跟进各项最新发展。若真心想协助其他选区或了解该区某项议题的真实情况，请亲自到现场视察，接触当地人民及县行政单位，而非仅从外部妄加揣测。
里卡士区州议员也应集中关注里卡士选区自身的福利与各项议题，该区仍有待关注与解决的事项。
更为重要的是，所有人民代议士应以成熟、专业的方式合作，以人民利益为重，而不应将议会变成构筑政治观感或博取廉价关注的舞台。
本人将继续秉持充分的责任感与诚挚之心，致力于为N48苏谷区的人民服务与工作。
