DESA Group of Companies was honoured to receive the Lawatan Kerja Delegasi Pertubuhan Ahli Parlimen Untuk Keamanan Sejagat Malaysia to Desa Keningau Livestock Industries Sdn. Bhd. (DKLI), Sook, Keningau on 23 May 2026.

The delegation was led by YB Tan Sri Dato’ Dr. Johari Bin Abdul, Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat, together with YB Senator Datuk Wira Dr. Mohd Hatta Bin Md Ramli, Ahli Dewan Negara merangkap Presiden Pertubuhan Ahli Parlimen Untuk Keamanan Sejagat Malaysia, and YB Kapten Dato’ Dr. Zulkafperi Bin Hanapi (B), Ahli Parlimen P.095 Tanjong Karang.

The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to gain closer insight into DKLI’s operations, including grain corn development, silage initiatives, livestock integration, and the implementation of modern farming technologies in supporting food security and sustainable agro-industry development in Sabah.

DESA Group sincerely appreciates the presence of the distinguished delegation and hopes this visit will further strengthen strategic relationships and open greater opportunities for future collaboration.

In conjunction with the CSR initiative organised in collaboration with the KKSD Committee, DESA Group of Companies conducted a contribution handover programme at Sekolah Kebangsaan Buit Hill, Penampang, Sabah on 15th May 2026. The programme aimed to extend support and appreciation to the community, especially to the anak-anak asnaf, through the distribution of contributions and DESA milk products as part of DESA’s continuous commitment towards community care and social responsibility.

This initiative reflects the spirit of togetherness, compassion, and corporate responsibility while strengthening the relationship between DESA and the local community. DESA remains committed to creating meaningful impacts through community-driven programmes and initiatives.

In conjunction with Labour Day, DESA Group of Companies through the CSR Committee carried out the Labour Day CSR Product Distribution Programme as a token of appreciation to employees for their dedication, commitment, and contribution to the company.

A total of 853 employees across DESA Group received DESA products under this CSR initiative.

The programme was conducted at the respective DESA locations with the support of the Management team, CSR Committee, Logistics team, and location admins.

It is with great pride that we share that our CEO, Madam Emiliana Chin, represented Desa Cattle (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. as a keynote speaker at the 9th Global Dairy Innovation Congress Asia 2026, held in Singapore on 23 April 2026.

During the session, Madam Emiliana Chin presented insights on DESA’s dairy farming transformation journey, including the Company’s high commitment in animal welfare, quality assurance, innovation, and sustainable development within the dairy industry. Her participation at this international congress reflects DESA’s continued efforts in contributing to the advancement of the State’s dairy sector and in strengthening the presence of Sabah’s dairy industry on a regional platform.

This achievement marks an important milestone for DESA, and we are honoured to see our organisation represented at such a prestigious industry event.
