التقى السفير عدنان مهلهل آل معجون سفير جمهورية العراق لدى ماليزيا، وبتأريخ ٢٣/ايلول/٢٠٢٦ مع سعادة السفير ماهر خير، سفير الجمهورية اللبنانية لدى ماليزيا، وذلك خلال الزيارة التي أجراها سعادته إلى السفارة اللبنانية في كوالالمبور.
وبعد استقبال السيد خير لسعادته قدم له التهاني والتبريكات بمناسبة تسلمه مهامه الرسمية سفيراً مفوضا فوق العادة لجمهورية العراق في ماليزيا، متمنياً له التوفيق والنجاح في أداء مهام عمله الجديد، معرباً عن استعداده لتقديم العون لسيادته، ومؤكدا على روابط الأخوة الوثيقة التي تجمع الدول والشعوب العربية قاطبة، وحرصه على العمل العربي المشترك..

His Excellency Ambassador Mr. Adnan Mhalhal Al Maajoon, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, met with His Excellency Ambassador Maher Kheir, Ambassador of the Lebanese Republic to Malaysia, on September 23rd, 2026, during an official visit to the Lebanese Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
Upon welcoming Ambassador Al Maajoon, Ambassador Mr. Kheir extended his congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of assuming his official duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, wishing him success in his new role. Ambassador Kheir expressed his readiness to offer support, emphasizing the strong fraternal ties that unite all Arab nations and peoples, and reaffirmed his commitment to joint Arab action.
For his part, Ambassador Al Maajoon expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the warm congratulations and kind sentiments conveyed by Ambassador Maher Kheir. He commended the gracious reception and hospitality he received, highlighting the history of relations and shared bonds between the two brotherly countries and peoples.

التقى سفير جمهورية العراق لدى ماليزيا، السيد عدنان مهلهل آل معجون، يوم الأربعاء الموافق 23 أيلول 2026، سفير المملكة المغربية لدى ماليزيا، السيد مجيد حليم، في مقر السفارة المغربية بالعاصمة كوالالمبور.
وجرى خلال اللقاء تبادل التهاني بمناسبة تسلّم السفير آل معجون مهامه سفيراً مفوضاً فوق العادة لجمهورية العراق لدى ماليزيا، وبحث العلاقات الثنائية بين جمهورية العراق والمملكة المغربية، وسبل تعزيز التعاون المشترك في مختلف المجالات.
كما تناول اللقاء أهمية تعزيز التنسيق والتشاور بين البعثتين، وتفعيل العمل العربي المشترك في ماليزيا، بما يسهم في دعم المصالح المشتركة.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, Mr. Adnan Mhalhal Al Maajoon, met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Malaysia, Mr. Majid Halim, on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026, at the Moroccan Embassy headquarters in the capital, Kuala Lumpur.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged congratulations on the occasion of Ambassador Al Maajoon assuming his duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia. They discussed bilateral relations between the Republic of Iraq and the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as ways to enhance joint cooperation across various fields.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of enhancing coordination and consultation between the two missions and promoting joint Arab action in Malaysia to serve mutual interests.

التقى سعادة السفير عدنان مهلهل آل معجون، سفير جمهورية العراق لدى ماليزيا، سعادة السفير أكرام بن محمد إبراهيم، رئيس دائرة البروتوكول الدبلوماسي في وزارة الخارجية الماليزية، وذلك في العاصمة الإدارية بوتراجايا، يوم الاثنين الموافق 21 أيلول 2026.
واستهل اللقاء بتبادل عبارات الترحيب والمجاملة، حيث قدّم سعادة السفير أكرام بن محمد إبراهيم أسمى التهاني والتبريكات إلى سعادة السفير آل معجون، بمناسبة تسلّمه مهام عمله سفيراً ومفوضاً فوق العادة لجمهورية العراق لدى ماليزيا، متمنياً له التوفيق والنجاح في أداء مهامه الدبلوماسية.

His Excellency Mr. Adnan Mhalhal Al Maajoon, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, met with His Excellency Ambassador Ikram bin Mohammad Ibrahim, Head of the Diplomatic Protocol Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, in Putrajaya, the administrative capital of Malaysia, on Monday, September 21 st, 2026.
The meeting began with an exchange of greetings and courtesies, during which His Excellency Ambassador Ikram bin Mohammad extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency Ambassador Al Maajoon on assuming his duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, wishing him every success in carrying out his diplomatic responsibilities.
For his part, His Excellency Ambassador Al Maajoon expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Ambassador Ikram bin Mohammad for his kind sentiments and gracious words, while also commending the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him.
The meeting addressed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between the Republic of Iraq and Malaysia, and framework to support and develop joint cooperation in a manner that serves the shared interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples.
In this regard, His Excellency Ambassador Al Maajoon highlighted the Government of the Republic of Iraq’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Malaysia, particularly in the fields of energy, economy, education, trade and investment, in addition to a number of other vital areas. He affirmed that this approach reflects Iraq’s keenness to further consolidate its relations with Malaysia, enhance the level of bilateral cooperation, and expand the prospects for partnership between the two countries.
His Excellency also commended the role played by the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in supporting the work of diplomatic missions accredited to Malaysia, as well as the cooperation and coordination it provides, which contribute to facilitating their work and strengthening diplomatic engagement.

Iraqi Ambassador to Malaysia Meets His Algerian Counterpart
His Excellency Mr. Adnan Mhalhal Al Maajoon, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, met with His Excellency Mr. Abdelhafid Bounour, Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to Malaysia, on September 17, 2026, during an official visit to the Algerian Ambassador’s residence in Kuala Lumpur.
At the outset of the meeting, H.E. Ambassador Bounour extended his congratulations and best wishes to H.E. Ambassador Al Maajoon on assuming his duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, wishing him every success in carrying out his official responsibilities. He also expressed his readiness to provide support and cooperation, reflecting the fraternal relations between the Republic of Iraq and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, as well as their shared commitment to Arab cooperation.

His Excellency Ambassador Adnan Mhalhal Al Maajoon, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, met on Monday, September 14, 2026, with His Excellency Ambassador Hassan Abdelsalam Omer, Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to Malaysia, at the Embassy of Sudan in Kuala Lumpur.
The meeting began with an exchange of congratulations on the occasion of Ambassador Al Maajoon assuming his duties. The two sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination between their respective diplomatic missions, in addition to exchanging views on key regional and international developments, recent political developments in Malaysia, and issues of mutual interest.

His Excellency Mr. Adnan Mhalhal Al-Mhalhal, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, met on Thursday, 10 September 2026, with His Excellency Dr. Waleed Al-Manea, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Malaysia. The meeting was held at the main premises of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Kuala Lumpur.
At the outset of the meeting, H.E. Dr. Al-Manea extended his congratulations and best wishes to H.E. Ambassador Al-Mhalhal on the commencement of his duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, wishing him every success in the discharge of his official duties. He also expressed his readiness to provide support and assistance, including through sharing his experiences and insights gained during his diplomatic service in Malaysia, in the spirit of the fraternal relations that bind the Republic of Iraq and the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as in support of joint Arab action.

They also exchanged views on the importance of promoting joint Arab action in Malaysia and strengthening coordination and consultation among Arab diplomatic missions, in a manner that contributes to advancing Arab interests and enhancing Arab presence and cooperation with the Malaysian side.

السفير عدنان مهلهل آل معجون يلتقي سفير دولة ليبيا لدى ماليزيا ويبحثان تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق العربي

التقى سعادة السفير عدنان مهلهل آل معجون، سفير جمهورية العراق لدى ماليزيا، يوم الأربعاء الموافق ٩/٩/٢٠٢٦ سعادة السفير محمد الصادق عطية، سفير دولة ليبيا لدى ماليزيا، وذلك خلال زيارة رسمية أجراها إلى مقر السفارة الليبية في العاصمة كوالالمبور.
وفي مستهل اللقاء، رحّب السفير عطية بسعادة السفير آل معجون، مقدماً له التهاني والتبريكات بمناسبة توليه مهامه سفيراً ومفوضاً فوق العادة لجمهورية العراق لدى ماليزيا، ومتمنياً له دوام التوفيق والنجاح في أداء مهامه الدبلوماسية.
وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض مسار العلاقات الأخوية بين جمهورية العراق ودولة ليبيا، والتطرق إلى الزيارة الرسمية الأخيرة التي أجراها معالي وزير الخارجية الليبي والوفد المرافق له إلى العراق، ولقائه مع معالي نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية العراقي الدكتور فؤاد حسين، وما تم بحثه من سبل تطوير العلاقات الثنائية وتعزيز مجالات التعاون المشترك بين البلدين الشقيقين.
كما تناول اللقاء أهمية التنسيق والتواصل بين البعثات الدبلوماسية العربية المعتمدة في كوالالمبور، حيث أشار السفير عطية، بصفته نائباً لعميد السلك الدبلوماسي العربي في كوالالمبور، إلى الدور الإيجابي الذي يضطلع به المجلس العربي في تعزيز التواصل والتنسيق بين أعضائه، فضلاً عن نشاطاته التي تسهم في دعم وتطوير العلاقات العربية–الماليزية.
مشيداً بمستوى التنسيق والتعاون بين السفراء العرب، والذي يعكس روح الأخوة والتضامن ويشكل نموذجاً متميزاً في العمل الدبلوماسي المشترك.
من جانبه، أعرب سعادة السفير آل معجون عن شكره وتقديره للسفير عطية على حفاوة الاستقبال وكرم الضيافة، مؤكداً أهمية مواصلة التواصل والتنسيق والتعاون بين البعثات الدبلوماسية العربية في ماليزيا، بما يسهم في تعزيز المصالح المشتركة وترسيخ أواصر التعاون بين الدول العربية وماليزيا.

Ambassador Adnan Mhalhal Al Maajoon Meets Libyan Ambassador to Malaysia, Discussing Enhanced Arab Cooperation and Coordination.
His Excellency Ambassador Adnan Mhalhal Al Maajoon, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, met on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, with His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed A M Attia, Ambassador of the State of Libya to Malaysia, during an official visit to the headquarters of the Libyan Embassy in the capital, Kuala Lumpur.
At the outset of the meeting, Ambassador Attia welcomed Ambassador Al Maajoon, extending his congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of assuming his duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to Malaysia, wishing him continued success in his diplomatic mission.
During the meeting, the two ambassadors reviewed the fraternal relations between the Republic of Iraq and the State of Libya. They referenced the recent official visit by the Libyan Foreign Minister and his accompanying delegation to Iraq, including his meeting with Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Dr. Fuad Hussein, which focused on ways to develop bilateral relations and strengthen fields of joint cooperation between the two brotherly nations.
The meeting also addressed the importance of coordination and communication among the Arab diplomatic missions accredited in Kuala Lumpur. Ambassador Attia, in his capacity as Vice Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps in Kuala Lumpur, highlighted the positive role played by the Arab Council in enhancing communication and coordination among its members, as well as its activities that contribute to supporting and developing Arab Malaysian relations.
He commended the level of coordination and cooperation among the Arab ambassadors, which reflects the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity and represents a distinguished of joint diplomatic action.
For his part, Ambassador Al Maajoon expressed his thanks and appreciation to Ambassador Attia for the warm reception and hospitality, emphasizing the importance of continued communication, coordination, and cooperation among Arab diplomatic missions in Malaysia to further shared interests and strengthen bonds of cooperation between Arab nations and Malaysia.
