🎶💃 Learning starts better when children feel fresh, joyful, and ready!

At our After-School Care Programme, we often begin the afternoon with a short time of music, movement, and dancing to help the children refresh their minds, build confidence, and enjoy learning together

A big thank you to all our supporters, donors, and volunteers who continue to make this programme possible. Your support helps us create a safe and meaningful space for children to grow.

The Salvation Army Kuching Corps Sekama is looking for an Administrative Assistant who is organised, detail-oriented, and ready to support meaningful work in our community.
Salary: RM1,800 – RM2,000
Working hours: Mon–Fri 9:00am–6:00pm, Sat 8:00am–1:00pm (45 hrs/week)
Qualifications:
• Diploma/Degree in Business Admin, Office Management, Accounting, HR, or related
• Good MS Office skills (ERP is an advantage)
• Strong communication and time management
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

This week, our After-School Care children went around the Sekama neighbourhood to share flyers and personally invite mothers to join our Mother’s Day Celebration at The Salvation Army Kuching Corps.

We want to celebrate and honour the lives of mothers who stay near us, and to create a warm time of fellowship, refreshments, and simple activities together.

We are deeply thankful to Foundation of Andrew for blessing our children with a joyful outing to Borneo Happy Farm during the March school break 🚐🚐

It was a special day filled with laughter, nature, fun, and also a sweet celebration for our March birthday children.

We also want to sincerely acknowledge and appreciate Foundation of Andrew for their earlier support through chocolates, biscuits, free haircuts, lunch, and hygiene packs. Your kindness has brought real joy ❤️and encouragement to our children 👦🏻👧🏻

A heartfelt thank you to the Rotary Club of Kuching Central for partnering with us to bless the Kampung Kudei families through “Clothes of Love” ❤️

Your generosity brought dignity and joy through Uniqlo clothing, along with Christmas gifts and daily necessities such as rice, cooking oil, and flour. For families living in an urban slum area, this support is more than assistance, it is a reminder that the community has not forgotten them.

January was extra special at our After-School Care because of your kindness. 🎂
