Request for Maintenance of Uneven Walkway @ Batu Kawa Riverbank Park
Team Dr. Sim has received complaints from members of the public regarding uneven sections of the walkway at Batu Kawa Riverbank Park, which may pose a safety risk to park users.
The matter has been referred to the relevant authority, and we hope the necessary maintenance works can be carried out promptly to restore a safe and comfortable environment for all visitors.
In the meantime, members of the public are advised to exercise caution when using the affected walkway.

Exciting Progress! Fire Victim's Home Nearing Completion @ Kampung Sinar Budi Baru

Team Dr. Sim recently conducted a site inspection together with the Ketua Kampung (KK)to review the progress of the fire victim's house being rebuilt under the Rumah Membaik Pulih Programme (ADUN N.14 Batu Kawah).

We are pleased to see that the reconstruction works are now nearing completion. What was once lost to the fire is gradually taking shape once again, bringing renewed hope to the affected family.

Team Dr. Sim will continue to monitor the final stages of the project and looks forward to welcoming the family back to a safe and comfortable home soon.

好消息！甘榜欣纳布迪巴鲁火灾灾民房屋即将竣工

沈医生服务团队日前联同村长（KK）前往甘榜欣纳布迪巴鲁巡视，在石角N.14选区房屋维修与重建计划（Rumah Membaik Pulih）下重建的火灾灾民住家工程进展。

令人欣慰的是，房屋重建工程目前已接近竣工。曾经遭受火灾摧毁的家园，如今正一步步完成重建，也为受灾家庭带来了新的希望。

沈医生服务团队将持续关注工程最后阶段，并期待受灾家庭能够早日搬回新家，重新展开新的生活。

A simple gesture gave us a thousandfold courage ❤️

服务团队陪同拿督阿玛沈桂贤医生走入社区，与居民轻松交流、聆听大家的心声。

对我们服务团队来说，最珍贵的，不是华丽的言语，而是人民最真诚的回应。

（古晋2日讯）石角德莎威拉第二期防洪工程目前进展神速，实际施工进度比原定计划超前约11%！砂拉越副总理兼石角区州议员拿督阿玛沈桂贤表示，这项总投资超过3660万令吉的重点工程，预计将于2027年7月全面竣工，届时将显着提升当地抵御水灾的能力。

沈桂贤日前在砂拉越水利灌溉局官员陪同下，亲自前往施工现场巡视，深入了解最新工程细节。他对目前的施工进展表示满意与欣慰，同时促请承包商时刻恪守合约要求，在保质保量的原则下，确保工程如期且高质量交付。

这项于今年1月正式动工的第二期防洪工程，核心项目包括兴建一座占地1万1300平方米、具备3万立方米蓄水容量的雨洪蓄水池，同时包含泵房、主开关房、变电站建设、道路及363米排水沟提升，以及打造长达1公里的防洪墙。

这也是沈桂贤为石角选区规划的“全面防洪蓝图”中，拟议兴建的4座蓄水池之一。

较早前竣工的第一期工程位于德莎威拉第7巷，耗资1450万令吉，包含一座1.4公顷、蓄水量超4万立方米的蓄水池。暴雨期间，蓄水池可有效吸收并缓冲过量雨水，大幅降低周边住宅区水淹风险。目前，仅德莎威拉第一及第二期防洪工程的总投资额便已突破5110万令吉。

此外，砂拉越政府亦拨款6388万令吉，在石角新市镇前方及Pine Square商业中心附近筹建另外两座总占地7英亩的蓄水池，并同步提升周边排水网络，全面织密石角的防洪安全网。

沈桂贤进一步指出，德莎威拉的综合排水系统会将雨水引导至蓄水池，再经由盐柴港排入砂拉越河。这项地方工程将与联邦政府耗资24亿令吉的“砂拉越河防洪分流运河工程”形成有机联动。

该项由副首相兼柏特拉再也区国会议员拿督阿玛法迪拉尤索积极向中央争取的大型防洪工程，涵盖长达8公里的分流运河、桥梁及水闸设施，起点设于石角，经由萨拉克河将高达60%的砂拉越河过量水流直接引入南中国海，从根本上缓解河水泛滥危机。

沈桂贤强调，防洪工程虽属于联邦与州政府的共同权责，但自2016年服务石角以来，他始终坚持“不论资金来自何方，落实实质改善、让石角人民长远受益才是硬道理”的原则，未来将继续全力推行各项惠民水利基建。
