InfocastKenyalang (iK) is a digital media channel currently being implemented by SAINS to bring the Government closer to the Rakyat. iK shall disseminate relevant information to the Rakyat of Sarawak accurately, timely and effectively. iK screens will show information relevant and important to the Rakyat such as the latest updates on government projects, promotion of public programs and service, i
nformation on public events, public service announcements, information on culture, heritage and tourism on Sarawak. Content can be in the form of announcements, documentaries, educational material, information sharing, event reporting, etc. iK terminals, which consist of the medias players, screens and communication devices have between installed at about 100 popular locations throughout the state. Those locations include the counters of the District Office, Local authorities and other state agencies. In addition, sites with high traffic volume such as hospitals, shopping malls, hotels, airports, bus & boats terminals and other government complexes with public service counters are also targeted for installation.
