As one advances to the entrance of Kidz Paradize Kuching, an arch comprises of huge blocks splashed with colourful soothing tones just makes the centre much more inviting. Upon registration beneath the Lego-like arch, each child would be given an electronic wristband which comprises of the name of the child and parent, all merged into a single barcode. One may be quizzical about the necessity of using such technology, but when it comes to the safety of the children, Kidz Paradize Kuching go all out to foster an efficient system in ensuring that safety of the children remains a top priority. The grandiose of the structure can only be fully absorbed after the children store their footwear at the shoerack. What lies beyond the entrance is none other than a 3-storey mega play structure comprises of numerous slides and tunnel networks reinforced with safety netting. There are even slides which lead to a ball pit at the landing point. Several basketball hoops are attached to the pit for children to practice their shooting skills. However, hygiene is also a top priority at Kidz Paradize Kuching. The whole facility is closed for sanitization every Monday from 10am - 1pm, and additional days will be invested in high volume periods. The balls are individually cleaned through a specially imported ball washing machine! As such, both children and adult alike could contribute by putting on socks before entering the facility. Upon closer observation of the mega structure, one will find that it closely resembles a children obstacle course which is padded for safety. Amidst all the running, climbing and wholesome fun on the spongy EVA foam, the child subconsciously learns about overcoming obstacles, developing resilience towards adversities and identifying alternatives when they come to a roadblock. From being exposed to these essential lessons at such an early age, the character of the child is slowly shaped to become one who is confident and self assured . Not forgetting the constant interaction with peers, their social, language and cognitive development are being refined at the same time. There is even an allotted educational corner featuring Grolier’s award-winning board games and reading materials.
