The past 2 weeks before our term break, we learnt about Local Ingredients/Local Food. Not Brocolli, strawberry or potato.
In conjunction with Gawai, we introduced different kinds of local vegetables for children to explore, taste, smell, touch, and learn about.
We introduced Cangkuk Manis, terung asam, petai, bunga kantan, tapioca leaves, black and white pepper, paku, durian flower and finally, SAGO WORMS!
Children compiled all the activities that they did into a cute little book too! It was all fun and joy learning sth different and new to them.
