"Second Career Program for Veteran ATM in Oil & Gas Industry Successfully Implemented"

A Second Career Program for retired armed force has been successfully organized by The Malaysia Military Veteran Sarawak Association (PVTMS) in collaboration with Pewira Bakti Sdn Bhd since mid -2020.

There are more than 5,000 military personnel retiring each year. In November 2018, Major General Dato 'Dzulkarnain Bin Ahmad (Director General of Jabatan Hal Ehwal Veteran) requested assistance from the private sector to provide industrial training programs and employment for retiring military personnel in a press released.

With the intention of providing training programs and employment placement to ATM veterans, a program has been initiated by Pewira Bakti Sdn Bhd to help veterans who are interested in working in the Oil & Gas Industry. Pewira Bakti will provide all the necessary training or courses to the participants and then helps to seek for working opportunities in Oil & Gas Industry.

To date, the program has successfully helped more than 20 veterans conduct the necessary skills and safety training. All members who have undergone training have been recruited by Borneo Seaoffshore Engineering Sdn Bhd to work Offshore.

"For army who are about to retire, they are welcome to register with Pewira Bakti Sdn Bhd to get the appropriate assistance." Said Kissinger Anak Tutong, Head of PVTMS Service Center Miri Division.

Therefore, Kissinger also expressed his appreciation to Borneo Seaffshore Engineering Sdn Bhd for offering working opportunity to participants in this program. With this, Kissinger also hopes more companies will get involved in this program to recruits ATM veterans to work in Offshore.

“Program Kerjaya Kedua Veteran ATM dalam Bidang Minyak & Gas berjaya dilaksanakan”

Satu Program Kerjaya Kedua Veteran Angkatan Tentera telah berjaya dianjur oleh Persatuan Veteran Tentera Malaysia Sarawak (PVTMS) dengan kerjasama bersama Pewira Bakti Sdn Bhd mulai pertengahan tahun 2020.

Terdapat lebih daripda 5000 anggota tentera bersara setiap tahun. Pada bulan November tahun 2018, Major General Dato’ Dzulkarnain Bin Ahmad (Ketua Pengarah Jabatan Hal Ehwal Veteran ATM) telah minta bantuan daripada pihak swasta supaya menyediakan program latihan industri dan perkerjaan kepada anggota tentera yang bakal bersara.

Dengan hasrat ingin menyediakan program latihan dan perkerjaan kepada veteran ATM, satu program telah di-inisiatif oleh Pewira Bakti Sdn Bhd supaya membantu veteran yang berminat ingin berkerja dalam bidang Minyak & Gas. Pewira bakti akan menyediakan segala latihan atau kursus yang diwajibkan kemudiannya mencari perkerjaan untuk semua peserta di dalam bidang Minyak & Gas.

Setakat ini, program ini telah berjaya membantu lebih daripada 20 orang anggota veteran menjalankan latihan kemahiran dan keselamatan yang diperlukan. Semua anggota yang menjalani latihan telahpun diambil oleh Borneo Seaoffshore Engineering Sdn Bhd untuk berkerja di Offshore.

“Bagi anggota yang bakal bersara dialu-alukan berdaftar dengan Pewira Bakti Sdn Bhd supaya mendapat bantuan yang sewajarnya.” mesej daripada Kissinger Anak Tutong selaku Pengerusi Pusat Khimat PVTMS Bahagian Miri.

Oleh demikian, Kissinger juga menyampaikan perhargaan kepada Borneo Seoffshore Engineering Sdn Bhd atas prihatin pengambilan perserta-peserta program ini untuk berkerja.

Dengan ini, Kissinger berharap lebih ramai syarikat akan melibatkan diri dalam pengambilan veteran ATM untuk berkerja di masa yang akan datang.

2020 merupakan tahun amat sukar untuk semua, terutamanya kepada WIRA negara yang bersara.

HUA TEO ANAK BUNYAU telah bersara daripada Angatan Tentera Malaysia dengan pangkat terakhir "STAF SARJAN" selepas 18 tahun berkhimat kepada negara. Beliau merupakan peserta pertama yang menyertai Program Kerjaya Kedua yang dianjurkan oleh Pewira Bakti Sdn Bhd telahpun menghadiri segala khusus-khusus kemahiran dan keselamatan pada August 2020.

Dengan bangganya, Pewira Bakti berjaya membantu Hua Teo mendapatkan pekerjaan dan beliau telah berjaya berlepas ke offshore pada hari ini, 10hb Mei 2021(Isnin).
