Niah National Park will resume limited operations effective 19 January 2026, subject to ongoing repair and maintenance works.
Areas Open to Visitors: Traderβs Cave (accessible from 19 January 2026)
Areas Temporarily Closed Until Further Notice: Ranger Post Tangap, Tangap Trail, Great Cave, Painted Cave, Madu Trail & Bukit Kasut.
These areas remain closed to ensure visitor safety and to allow necessary repair and maintenance works to be completed.
Important Information for Visitors:
β’ Visitors are strictly prohibited from entering restricted or closed areas.
β’ Access control measures are in place, and visitors are required to comply with all instructions from park staff.
β’ Visitors are advised to plan their visit accordingly, especially those expecting access to the Great Cave or Painted Cave.
β’ Park accommodation and the museum will resume operations in line with this partial reopening.
