We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Kenny S K Wong and your Lovely family for visiting us over the weekend. We hoped you enjoyed your stay and the fishing trip.

It's unfortunate that it rain heavily after dinner, otherwise we could have a long chat about the Lake's myth that you might be interested in. Once again, we apologise for any short-comings.

Greetings from Mutiara Bunut Homestay,

We would like to inform our valued guests that due to the intensified dry season over the past few weeks, the once-gigantic lake around our homestay has completely dried up. What was once a breathtaking view resembling a seaside landscape, dotted with small fishing boats, has now transformed into a vast, desert-like expanse.

While this natural change offers a unique and rare sight of the lakebed, it may differ significantly from the scenery you were expecting. We appreciate your understanding and remain committed to ensuring you still have a meaningful and enjoyable stay with us.

We are truly honoured to have welcomed the distinguished team from MOTAC during their official visit to Loagan Bunut National Park for the MyTQA audit on Wednesday 8 April 2026.

It was a great privilege for us at Mutiara Bunut Homestay for the team to stop-over and spend meaningful time to see the existing facilities at our installation. Your presence and engagement meant so much to us and we deeply appreciate your efforts in supporting and uplifting the tourism industry.

For decades, Mutiara Bunut Homestay has proudly contributed to the growth of local tourism, preserving our culture, environment, and hospitality. We sincerely hope that our dedication and long-standing commitment will be considered favourably in our application to be officially registered with MOTAC.

Greetings from Mutiara Bunut Homestay. We would like to welcome our 2nd group of visitors for 2026 from Long Wide Shot Sdn Bhd, Kuching from 25th - 27th Feb 2026.

Although this group led by Mr. Lau couldn't stay with us but we managed to provide them our boat services to enable them to move around the Lake and to the rivers to complete their tasks.

This group is doing a documentary on Loagan Bunut for the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Sarawak and to be aired on the TVS programme.

Thank you Mr. Lau for choosing us as your transporter and please accept our apology for not been able to provide you the accommodation as we are fully booked on the same dates. We hope to see you again soon.

Salam sejahtera dari Mutiara Bunut Homestay. Untuk pembukaan tahun 2026, kita mengalu-alukan kehadiran kumpulan pertama dari Sarawak Research Development Council -TROPI Kuching seramai 9 orang dari 24hb-28hb Feb. 2026.

Mereka menjalankan aktiviti-aktiviti penyelidikan hutan paya gambut di kawasan Taman Negara Loagan Bunut.

Bagi pihak pengurusan Mutiara Bunut Homestay, kami mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kerana memilih tempat kami untuk penginapan anda dan perkhidmatan bot kami untuk tugas harian kalian. Semoga kita berjumpa lagi pada tugasan anda yang seterusnya.

Salam sejahtera dari Mutiara Bunut Homestay 🌸

Selepas berehat seketika akibat musim kemarau yang lalu, pihak Mutiara Bunut Homestay telah menerima kunjungan sekumpulan tetamu pada hujung minggu ini (14/09/25) untuk lawatan harian. Mereka datang untuk bersantai sambil ber-BBQ dan karaoke, menikmati suasana tasik yang indah serta alam semula jadi yang segar 🌊🎶🍖
