"Kenaikan yuran tidak terlibat pelajar lama"
"Kadar kenaikan yuran bagi pelajar baharu akan dikurangkan"

Kami berharap pihak pentadbiran USM boleh membincang dengan mahasiswa USM dulu sebelum membuat keputusan yang terlibat hal ehwal mahasiswa pada masa depan.

Kami juga berharap pihak pentadbiran USM boleh mengeluarkan pengumuman yang lebih teliti tentang apa kategori/kos dinaikkan?

[ BANTAHAN KENAIKAN YURAN SEMESTER 1 S.A. 2020/2021 ]
Pada semester yang akan datang, pihak pentadbiran USM telah menaikkan yuran-yuran mahasiswa USM iaitu yuran desasiswa, kebajikan & kemudahan universiti serta yuran pendaftaran.

Kami terkejut bahawa pihak USM tidak melalukan apa-apa perbincangan dengan mahasiswa USM termasuk juga MPP USM. Jikalau kenaikan yuran yang melampau tanpa melalui perbincangan dengan mahasiswa/i USM, isu-isu lain juga akan ditangani dengan cara ini ke?
Universiti Sains Malaysia, sila menjelaskan pertanyaan ini.

Kami juga mendapati bahawa yuran kebajikan & kemudahan universiti telah dinaikkan daripada RM125 kepada RM960 sebanyak 668% ?!
Oleh itu, kami nak bertanya, yuran yang dinaikkan ini adalah untuk kategori apa? Kesihatan? Pengangkutan? Perpustakaan? Kemudahan apa? Kenapa? Terlibat mahasiswa baharu saja atau semua tahun pengajian?
Haraplah BHEPA USM boleh memberikan jawapan yang teliti.

Sampai hari ini, pihak pentadbiran masih belum mengeluarkan apa-apa pengumunan, masalah ini telah mencetuskan kebimbangan para mahasiwa USM.

Di sini, kami Ikatan Mahasiswa USM kuat membantah kenaikan yuran yang melampau dan memohon pihak pentadbiran USM untuk menarik balik keputusan ini.

Logo "No 668%" boleh di-'copy paste' oleh para mahasiswa dan boleh menggunakannya di mana-mana media sosial seperti berkomen di page USM untuk menunjukkan mahasiswa USM adalah kuat menbantah kenaikan yuran yang melampau ini!

Kami akan membincangkan isu ini bersama dengan pihak lain seperti MPP USM. Pada masa yang sama, para mahasiswa USM boleh menandatangan petition ini http://chng.it/CSwMfm7Skv yang dikeluarkan oleh MPP USM.

Mesej bantahan kenaikan yuran juga akan dihantarkan oleh saudara Teh Xian Zhi yang mewakili Ikatan Mahasiswa USM kepada BHEPA, Timbalan Naib Canselor, Naib Canselor serta jabatan yang berkenaan.

Marilah kita bersama membantah kenaikan yuran ini!

Hi every USMians, finally we have finalized all the results in our survey!
And of course, this finalized report has been sent by our general representative (Teh Xian Zhi) to the Vice Chancellor , Deputy Vice Chancellor, Universiti Sains Malaysia top management departments and MPP USM.

There are hundred of reasons and suggestions we already combine together in this file. There are also many messages we get and now we will help the USMians to deliver the messages to the relevant officers.

Wish the USM top management and MPP that will listen to the students' voices.
We will wait for it soon.

We will continue stand together with the students.

Hi every USMians, our survey which is about the reduction of fees in this semester that there are 432 responses to voice out and provide different opinions and suggestions.

For now, we know that there are 97.7% local USM students and 2.3% international students who have completed this survey.
Among them, there are 88.9% (agree), 4.6% (other/partially agree), 6.5% (disagree) with different reasons.

Since there are hundred of reasons/opinions/suggestions, we will try to finalize all of them with this few days and then submit it to the USM management officers like TNC, BHEPA, MPP, etc.

Here are some results of this survey, please take a look.
We continue fight for all the USM students regardless race and nationality.

The number of responses in our survey is already over our target 💪

Some opinions and suggestions from USM students:
1. "Obviously we don’t utilise anything. Obviously USM pay less bills. We just occupied and that’s no other option. Fees should be reduced since week 6, for students whose already at home by that time. Obviously half price would be a good start up."

2. "Pleaseeee refund back the fees to the student who already paid😭🙏🏻,,because even tho i already got the JPA but here at home i need to ‘sara’ my family with the money 😔 especially during this quarantine, my father got less job"

3. "70-80% reduction. Specially because being an International student we pay an hefty amount unlike the local student."

4. "my suggestion, only students who are stay in the usm need to pay the exact amount of fees because they still use all of the facilities. pardon me."

5. "Membayar balik yuran pengajian dan penginapan kerana bukan semua pelajar yang mempunyai wang untuk membeli top up untuk melanggan internet untuk kelas online😔"

6. "Tak perlu kurang, dah bayar biarkan jee sbb usm pun mana tau nk jadi bnda ni kalau dh tau dia takkan charge yuran. Use your brain sometimes"

7. "Kalau hostel, tak perlu kurangkan yuran hostel sbb mcm biasalaa bila kau dh bayar, kau nk duduk atau tak nak duduk ke still kena bayar jugak. Jangan nak manja sangat. Yuran lain pun sama jugak, kalau nk kurangkan yuran boleh, bayaran ptptn, biasiswa tu semua kena kurangkan jugak. Deal? Macam ni laa bila tak tahu bersyukur."...
