Halal Day @ Food ingredients - Fi Vietnam is a dedicated platform that highlights one of the fastest‑growing segments in the global food industry. In this role, you will coordinate talent programmes, strengthen collaborations with ministries, universities, and industry players, and support initiatives under the Halal Community of Practice (HCoP) Framework. Your contribution will help build competency pathways, recognition opportunities, and industry-academia partnerships that prepare Malaysia’s halal workforce for tomorrow.

Yesterday, 7 May 2026, our interim CEO, Mr. Hanisofian Alias was invited by the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR), Ministry of Foreign Affairs to deliver a presentation at the InterContinental Kuala Lumpur.

The session was part of the Pre-Placement Course for Malaysia’s future Heads of Diplomatic Missions abroad. This program brings together ambassadors-designate and their spouses to strengthen their understanding of Malaysia’s policies and current issues, including the halal industry.

Mr. Hanisofian shared his perspectives on the Halal Industry in Malaysia and the growing role of Halal diplomacy. He highlighted how Malaysia’s halal ecosystem contributes to national development, supports international trade and investment, and builds trust across borders.

Through this session, HDC showed its commitment to bringing Malaysia’s halal agenda to the global stage, ensuring that halal continues to open doors for diplomacy, economic opportunity, and international collaboration.

Majlis Pelancaran Inisiatif Ekosistem Halal Nestlé Malaysia telah berlangsung di bu Pejabat Nestlé , Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, disempurnakan oleh Tuan Muhyidin Bin Aziz @ Saari, Pengarah Bahagian Pengurusan Halal Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia - JAKIM. Turut hadir ialah, Juan Aranols, CEO Nestlé Malaysia dan En. Hanisofian Alias, Interim CEO HDC.

Majlis ini menandakan pengiktirafan JAKIM terhadap usaha Nestlé Malaysia dalam membangunkan ekosistem halal menyeluruh merangkumi pendidikan, pembangunan komuniti, pembangunan industri dan pengukuhan rantaian bekalan. Inisiatif ini turut menjadikan Nestlé Malaysia sebagai contoh rujukan bagi organisasi lain dalam menyokong aspirasi Malaysia sebagai peneraju global ekosistem halal.

Sejak 2009, Nestlé Malaysia melalui SME Mentoring Programme bersama HDC telah membantu memperkasa PMKS tempatan dalam mengamalkan amalan terbaik halal. Program ini terus berkembang, termasuk pada tahun 2024 dengan penglibatan lebih 53 syarikat dan 144 peserta, memberi pendedahan kepada pensijilan halal dan Halal Assurance System. Kejayaan ini mencerminkan nilai perkongsian strategik antara Nestlé, HDC dan rakan industri dalam membina kapasiti halal yang mampan.

Penglibatan HDC dalam majlis ini menekankan komitmen terhadap kerjasama strategik bersama Nestlé Malaysia. Ia juga membuka ruang kolaborasi masa depan dalam pembangunan bakat halal, seiring dengan aspirasi negara untuk memperkukuh ekosistem halal yang inklusif dan mampan.
