On behalf of the Malaysian Students' Surgical Society (MSSS), we are proud to support Sepeda Amal Borneo 2026 (SAB2026)! 🚴‍♂️💨

From 26–31 July, cyclists will tackle a grueling 680KM route from Kota Kinabalu to Miri. Organized by the Malaysian Medical Association Foundation (MMAF), this premier event funds life-saving paediatric surgeries and supports children with Primary Immunodeficiencies (PID).

This initiative proudly supports the Malaysian Patient Organisation for Primary Immunodeficiencies (MyPOPI) MyPOPI and the Malaysian Association of Paediatric Surgery (MAPS).

June was a busy month with multiple speaking engagements. Grateful to everyone who welcomed me to share knowledge, experience, and advocacy. 🙏

Two similar talks across platforms: 🎤
✅️ Late and adult-onset Immunodeficiency: Arranged by Dr. Betty Teh from Beating Hearts and at the MMA 2026 Congress. This talk provided a platform to advocate for Primary Immunodeficiency/Inborn Errors of Immunity (PID/IEI) and promote our fundraising cycling event SEPEDA2026. 🚲 Learn more about SEPEDA2026 below

✅️ National Nursing Conference – Clinical Immunology: Organized by the HPUPM Allergy and Immunology team. Presented on Vaccinations in PID and Immunocompromised hosts. 💉

"Doctor, my child is the shortest in class. Should they play basketball, swim more, or hang from a bar to grow taller?”

As a paediatric endocrinologist, this is one of the most common questions I receive from parents.
