It was such a busy Sunday for refitting at our PPBM Toy Hub! So happy to be able to re donate new books from Sholastics Malaysia to the New Life Church for their orang asli centres in Bidor, to S**A Society for their preschools for Orang Asli children in various locations as well as to Eden Centre for Special Needs in Cheras through Li Ling, a regular at our Toy Hub. Added in lot of other goodies donated by Andrew. Forever grateful for every donation of toys, books etc Not only do we save such items from ending in landfills but we get to play Santa Clause everyday to bring joy to children in marginalised communities!

We wish to thank Andrew our very generous donor of toys and stationeries (a 3 ton lorry load plus one large van load! ) We had to use the whole of our Training Room for 10 Sunway Student Volunteers to unpack, sort by category, count and repack into clear boxes. All done in two, days as we need the room for KAP Training on, the weekend! Kudos to the awesome volunteers!

We were then able to share the joy of re gifting some of these new resources to the MRC Learning Centre in Kuchai Lama, a school for refugee children We were connected to them through the ex CBNers group. Christina one of our regular volunteers was kind enough to drop them off on our behalf

So many people to thank for enabling circularity for such resources! Together we make it happen.

Most discounted between 40%-70%!..Gotta clear space for new donations coming in soon! Of course.. Not to forget vintage Barbies, LEgos, DUPLOS and toddler toys

We are so grateful that over the last two weeks we had generous donations of toys, books, baby items, LEGOs and even bicycles and outdoor play equipment

Between 15- 23 July.. 5 individual families from Seri Kembangan, Ampang, Klang, Cheras and Bangsar dropped off their children's much loved items PPBM Toy Recycling Hub

On 20th and 23 July we had a really generous donation from Andrew from Cheras who gave us all his left over stock of various toys, stress balls, stationery, party items, art n craft materials etc from his online business (a whole lorry load!)
Due to this sudden influx of preloved and new items we were grateful to have 3 teams of Sunway Student Volunteers to help sort and repack them for re gifting to refugee schools, children with health issues, orang asli centers and a family of 5 children placed by JKM with their aunt in Semenyih
