Damansara Perdana NEWS : Remember year 2014, Triathlon ace Kimbeley Kimbeley Yap-Chelliah escapes death in high-speed crash? MUST BE VERY CAREFUL especially on HIGHWAY !!!
Fortunately for the SEA Games triathlon gold medallist, she did not suffer serious injuries.
Yap, who became a triathlete after representing Malaysia in swimming and cycling, was hit from the back on the Penchala Link highway when she was cycling to her home in Damansara Perdana .
According to Malaysian National Cycling Federation (MNCF) deputy president Datuk Naim Mohamad, Yap’s CT scan was normal and she suffered soft tissue injuries but no fractures.
Yap’s half brother, Daniel Bego, who is a national swimmer, said: “She has fallen from her bicycle a few times but never got hurt like this. But I’m glad she is well.”
City traffic police chief ACP Rusli Mohd Noor said the 20-year-old driver who allegedly knocked down Yap lodged a police report yesterday evening.

【Empire Damansara Baan Kanom Jeen 给你不一样的泰式料理体验！】

说到泰国餐，脑海浮现的一定是 Tom Yam而已对吗？那你就错了，位于Empire Damansara的这间 Baan Kanom Jeen 如今要洗刷你对泰式料理餐馆卖的肯定就是Tom Yam这个一贯的想法, 对他们不打Tom Yam 的注意，他们主打Laksa！虾米？Laksa不是大马的咩？ 你没听错啦！就是Laksa～那泰国laksa好吃的吗？ 那就让小编带大家去瞧瞧这间泰式餐馆究竟有什么过人之处吧！

在Baan Kanom Keen主打的是这道 Kanom Jeen，就是 Thai Laksa的意思啦～这碗不简单的 Kanon Jeen 采用的粗米线是来自他们家乡，泰国那里而里头加了四种不同泰式特调酱 分别有香辣咖喱汁，鱼咖喱汁，青咖喱汁，还有花生酱汁。而配菜呢则有刚刚好的水煮蛋和不同的蔬菜料理。好，小编必须承认这 Kanon Jeen 好吃的程度绝对能和大马的laksa一较高低！

There is a new DATING SCENE in town & it is called Halal Speed Dating , a matchmaking platform based on the sunnah (traditions and sayings of the Prophet Muhammad) in Islam.
The speed dating event promises to be “the best and safest way” to find prospective spouses. According to the website, the ­organisers want to highlight the importance of ­supervised interaction between candidates by a wali (bride’s custodian), mahram (blood-related kin) and a chaperone.

The two-tower office complex will connect to the community through its green sustainable features, various amenities as well as accessibility and integrated community facilities.
The establishment of the towers will also see 50 percent less energy used compared to the conventional office buildings.
EMKAY Group Project consultant, K Mohanachandran K R Kunjan said this is another value-added service to the Petaling Jaya (PJ) community and transforming it into a new Central Business District.
Mohanachandran said MMK is easily accessible via major highways, given its strategic location at the entrance of Damansara Perdana . Even commuters can access the Towers through bus services and the upcoming MRT.

Damansara Perdana NEWS : THE Taoist Mother of Dragon (Lung Mu) Temple in PJU 8 Damansara Perdana , Petaling Jaya, plan to lodge a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over the reduced size of the land allocated to them.
ANY FURTHER NEWS of this ??
Federation of Kwong Siew Association of Malaysia President, Ho Sai Chong said the temple was promised 30,492sq ft but the committee recently discovered the plans demarcating the temple land showed it was only half the allocated size.
“We had written to the state government numerous times and we understand that on June 28, 2012, March 15 and again on Dec 20, 2013, Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim had directed the district Land Office to issue a land title but nothing came out of it,” he said.
Temple adviser Datuk Dr Wong Sai Hou said that to make matters worse, the temple committee found out on July 18, 2013 that a commercial development was planned over half the land that was supposed to be alienated to them.
“From a struggle to get the land properly assigned to its organisation, the temple is now faced with the grim possibility of the land that was allocated to them being taken away by a third party.
