What’s a better way to celebrate Merdeka than by giving back?

This Merdeka, we chose to celebrate by showing up for communities who have long called this land home, the Orang Asli.

Together with EPIC Homes, we got our hands dirty, picked up our tools, and built homes alongside the community.

Because giving back isn’t just about what we give. It’s about what we build together, for a better Malaysia for everyone.

And the best part? We can all contribute, in our own way. Even you.

Hey Johor, will you build with us? 💪🏠

We're partnering with Orang Asli communities in Johor, and we need more local Johor-ians to volunteer with us and build an EPIC Home.

It's okay if you don't have any DIY skills, or have never picked up a hammer in your life. All first-time builders will go through our 1-day Basic Builder workshop (which is warmly hosted by our dear friends at FOLO Farms in Johor, where we'll teach you everything you need to know!

Over 10,000 volunteers have experienced the life-changing impact of building an EPIC Home since we embarked on this journey in 2010. So if you're looking for a different kind of weekend activity that will make a difference in the world, come build with us 🏡

What do these numbers mean?

400 families now have a safe place to call home and a chance at a brighter future 🏡✨
10,000 people chose to spend their time serving others and ended up leaving with more than they came with.
16 years of learning experiences from things that didn’t go to plan, and celebrations of many more extraordinary milestones 🎉

16 years of an extraordinary community that is made up of:
The first-time builders who met as strangers and became lifelong friends. The work colleagues who discovered they had much more in common than shared deadlines. The Orang Asli who learnt that they can overcome their challenges by working together with their neighbours - and a little help from their urban volunteer friends 🫂🤝

Here’s to all the epic moments that got us here, and all the extraordinary things still to come 🧡

In just 3 days with your own 2 hands, you can build a forever home for a family 💪❤
This is THE extraordinary experience you’ve always been curious about - where urban and rural Malaysians unite to build homes, transform lives, and impact communities.

Join a 3D/2N EPIC Homes Build at only RM500 for first-time builders and RM400 for returning builders (actual value RM1,000)! Includes food, accommodation, transport from designated meetup point to build site during the build duration (carpooling reimbursement for drivers), and training for first-timers.

First-time builders will receive access to a compulsory Basic Builder (BB) workshop to learn essential skills and safety training. Feel the power of making a tangible, positive impact with your own hands and be inspired to continue supporting and advocating for long-term change.
