Enjoy discounts for domestic flights in Malaysia!

According to Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, initiatives to assist those in the tourism industry would be implemented soon, including discounts for domestic destinations.

Government has allocated RM200 million for the Tourism Recovery Plan under Budget 2021. While international travel may be restricted, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob earlier said that interstate travel within and between states designated as COVID-19 green zones will be allowed from 22 November 2020.

Regarding to this recent announcement, both AirAsia and Malaysia Airlines have come out with domestic travel promotions in collaboration with MOTAC under the Stimulus Recovery Plan.

Galaxy A42 5G: Samsung Malaysia’s cheapest 5G smartphone!

Samsung Malaysia has just released the Galaxy A42 5G and this is their first Galaxy A phone with 5G for our local market. Apart from supporting the next generation high-speed connectivity, the device runs on a Snapdragon processor and it has a bigger battery than the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

User now can purchase Samsung Galaxy A42 5G on the official Samsung store on Shopee and it retails for RM1,599 in Malaysia. According to its SIRIM listing, the device supports both 700MHz and 3500MHz 5G bands in Malaysia and it also comes with NFC.

Twitter is introducing new function ----- Fleets!

Twitter announced their global launch of a new disappearing messaging feature which will sit right at the top of the timeline in a row, just like Instagram Stories.

According to their official announcement, Twitter’s purpose is to serve the public conversation, but some of the twitter users mention that Tweeting is uncomfortable because it feels so public and permanent.

That's why Fleets is born! They are launching Fleets so everyone can easily join the conversation in a new way.Fleets are for sharing momentary thoughts, they help start conversations and only stick around for 24 hours.

YouTube just announced that Youtube Rewind 2020 is on pause.

Starting from 2010, YouTube releases a recap video to highlight the top trends of the year, featuring some of the famous YouTubers.

It can be pretty cringey sometimes (Rewinds 2018 which got dislike ratio of more than 80%), but people still looking forward to their rewind videos.

However, according to the official statement, YouTubes suggest that it "doesn't feel right" to release the video this year, with 2020 being different for obvious reasons.

People reacting negatively to this statement and claim that despite 2020 has been different, but there are still plenty of things to be positive about.

No more free unlimited storage ‼️

On a recent announcement from Google,starting from June 2021, any new photos and videos you upload will count toward the free 15 GB of storage that comes with every Google Account or the additional storage you’ve purchased as a Google One member.

However, existing high quality photos and videos are exempt from this change. Which means the photo you uploaded in high quality will not count toward your 15GB of free storage.

According to Google, there are more than 4 trillion photos stored in Google Photos, and 28 billion new photos and videos are uploaded each week. It stresses that it is important for it not just being a great product but to continue to meet your needs in the long haul.
