10 Ogos 2026: Delegasi daripada Presidency of the Republic of Turkiye Investment and Finance Office yang diketuai oleh Dr. Bilal Ilhan, Resident Country Advisor, dan disertai oleh Mr. Ozkan Ozkardes, Project Manager (Public-Private Partnership Projects), serta Mr. Sadik Harun Koksal, Expert (Public-Private Partnership Projects), telah mengadakan lawatan kerja ke Pelabuhan Klang hari ini.

Ketibaan delegasi disambut mesra oleh Dato’ Kapt. K. Subramaniam, Pengurus Besar LPK, bersama-sama Encik Sri Muhunan Raja Retnam, Penolong Pengurus Besar (Korporat & Pembangunan), dan Encik Mohd Shah Nas bin Mohd Fawzi, Pengurus (Penswastaan & Pelaburan) LPK.

Lawatan kerja ini bertujuan untuk meneroka peluang kerjasama, membina hubungan jangka panjang dengan pihak berkepentingan serta mendapatkan maklumat mengenai perancangan masa hadapan, operasi dan perkembangan terkini di Pelabuhan Klang.

Delegasi turut dibawa melawat Westports dan diberikan taklimat mengenai operasi terminal.

10 August 2026: Port Klang Authority (PKA) welcomed a delegation from the Presidency of the Republic of Turkiye Investment and Finance Office for a working visit to Port Klang today.

The delegation was led by Dr. Bilal Ilhan, Resident Country Advisor, and accompanied by Mr. Ozkan Ozkardes, Project Manager (Public-Private Partnership Projects), and Mr. Sadik Harun Koksal, Expert (Public-Private Partnership Projects).

The delegation was warmly received by Dato’ Capt. K. Subramaniam, General Manager of PKA, together with Mr. Sri Muhunan Raja Retnam, Assistant General Manager (Corporate & Development), and Mr. Mohd Shah Nas bin Mohd Fawzi, Manager (Privatisation & Investment), PKA.

The working visit aimed to explore potential opportunities, establish long-term relationships with key stakeholders, and gain insights into the future plans, operations and latest developments at Port Klang.

The delegation also visited Westports, where they were briefed on the terminal’s operations.

6 Ogos 2026: Lembaga Pelabuhan Kelang (LPK) telah mengadakan kunjungan hormat ke Pusat Hidrografi Nasional (PHN) yang diketuai oleh YBhg. Dato' Kapt. K. Subramaniam, Pengurus Besar LPK, bersama Kapt. Mohd. Fariz bin Hj. Abd. Malek, Pengurus Gerakan Marin, dan Sr. Badrul Hisham bin Ismail, Penolong Pengurus (Hidrografi).

Delegasi LPK telah disambut oleh Laksamana Muda Dr. Najhan bin Md. Said, Ketua Pengarah Hidrografi, bersama Komander Azrul Nezam bin Asri, Pengarah Geospatial, dan Komander Ahmad Rizuan bin Hussin, Ketua Pegawai Staf Geospatial Marin.

Kunjungan ini merupakan platform untuk memperkukuh hubungan strategik antara LPK dan PHN dalam memperkasakan kerjasama berkaitan hidrografi, keselamatan pelayaran serta pembangunan sektor maritim negara.

Sepanjang sesi perbincangan, kedua-dua pihak bertukar pandangan mengenai peranan penting hidrografi dalam menyokong pembangunan ekonomi maritim, meningkatkan keselamatan dan kecekapan operasi pelabuhan, di samping membincangkan pembangunan kapasiti, perkongsian kepakaran teknikal serta perkembangan pembangunan di Pelabuhan Klang.

LPK turut merakamkan setinggi-tinggi penghargaan kepada PHN atas kesudian menerima kunjungan ini. LPK komited untuk terus memperkukuh kerjasama profesional dengan PHN melalui pembangunan bakat, perkongsian pengetahuan, penyelidikan serta amalan terbaik bagi menyokong agenda pembangunan maritim negara.

Semoga jalinan kerjasama strategik antara LPK dan PHN akan terus diperkukuh demi merealisasikan aspirasi Malaysia sebagai sebuah negara maritim yang berdaya saing, selamat dan mampan.

6 August 2026: The Port Klang Authority (PKA) paid a courtesy visit to the National Hydrographic Centre (PHN), led by YBhg. Dato' Kapt. K. Subramaniam, General Manager of PKA, accompanied by Kapt. Mohd. Fariz bin Hj. Abd. Malek, Marine Operations Manager, and Sr. Badrul Hisham bin Ismail, Assistant Manager (Hydrography).

The PKA delegation was warmly received by Rear Admiral Dr. Najhan bin Md. Said, Director General of Hydrography, together with Commander Azrul Nezam bin Asri, Director of Geospatial, and Commander Ahmad Rizuan bin Hussin, Chief Staff Officer, Marine Geospatial.

The visit served as a platform to strengthen the strategic relationship between PKA and PHN in enhancing collaboration on hydrography, navigational safety, and the development of Malaysia's maritime sector.

During the discussion session, both parties exchanged views on the vital role of hydrography in supporting the growth of the maritime economy, improving the safety and efficiency of port operations, and explored opportunities for capacity building, technical knowledge sharing, and updates on the ongoing developments at Port Klang.

PKA also expressed its sincere appreciation to PHN for the warm hospitality and the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions. PKA remains committed to strengthening its professional collaboration with PHN through talent development, knowledge sharing, research, and the adoption of best practices in support of the nation's maritime development agenda.

It is hoped that the strategic partnership between PKA and PHN will continue to flourish, contributing towards the realization of Malaysia's aspiration to become a competitive, safe, and sustainable maritime nation.

3 Ogos 2026 : Lanjutan daripada keputusan Mesyuarat Jawatankuasa Pemandu MMSW Fasa 1 Kementerian Pengangkutan Malaysia (MOT) pada 1 Julai 2026, Lembaga Pelabuhan Kelang (LPK) telah menganjurkan Sesi Libat Urus MMSW di Ibu Pejabat LPK. Pelaksanaan sistem MMSW bagi pendaftaran ketibaan dan pelepasan kapal di Pelabuhan Klang telah pun berjaya direalisasikan sejak 10 Jun 2024. Sistem MMSW kini berada di dalam fasa penyelenggaraan sehingga Februari 2029.

Objektif sesi libat urus ini adalah untuk mengumpul maklum balas berhubung pelaksanaan, keberkesanan, serta penambahbaikan sistem MMSW secara berterusan. Sesi libat urus dengan pihak berkepentingan diadakan kepada dua sesi:

• Sesi Pagi: Melibatkan agensi-agensi kerajaan dan pengendali terminal, iaitu Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia, Jabatan Laut Malaysia, Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia, Jabatan Kimia Malaysia, Pejabat Kesihatan Pelabuhan, Northport dan Westports.
• Sesi Petang: Melibatkan wakil-wakil ejen perkapalan di Pelabuhan Klang.

Bagi pihak LPK, sesi ini telah dipimpin oleh Encik R. Sri Muhunan serta disertai oleh wakil-wakil LPK daripada Bahagian Keselamatan, Bahagian Gerakan Marin dan Bahagian Teknologi Maklumat. Pembentangan dan sesi soal jawab turut dijayakan bersama pihak pambangun sistem, Dagang Net Technologies Sdn. Bhd.

Pihak LPK merakamkan setinggi-tinggi penghargaan dan terima kasih kepada semua agensi, pengendali terminal, dan ejen-ejen perkapalan atas sokongan padu serta komitmen yang diberikan sepanjang sesi ini berlangsung.

3 August 2026 : Following the decisions made during the Steering Committee Meeting For Malaysia Maritime Single Window (MMSW) Phase 1, Ministry of Transport Malaysia (MOT) on 1 July 2026, Port Klang Authority (PKA) successfully organized a MMSW Engagement Session at the PKA Headquarters. For the record, the implementation of the MMSW system for arrival and vessel clearance at Port Klang has been operational since 10 June 2024. Currently, the MMSW system is undergoing its maintenance phase, which will continue until February 2029.

The primary objective of this engagement session was to gather constructive feedback regarding the implementation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement of the MMSW system. The session was conducted in two sessions:

• Morning Session: Attended by government agencies and terminal operators, including the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Malaysia Marine Department, Immigration Department of Malaysia, Department of Chemistry Malaysia, Port Health Office, Northport, and Westports.
• Afternoon Session: Attended by shipping agent representatives operating in Port Klang.

On behalf of PKA, the session was led by Mr. R. Sri Muhunan, alongside PKA representatives from the Security Division, Marine Operations Division, and Information Technology Division. The presentation and Q&A sessions were conducted seamlessly in collaboration with the system developer, Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd.

Port Klang Authority extends its highest appreciation and gratitude to all government agencies, terminal operators, and shipping agents for their strong support and continuous commitment throughout the session.

01 August 2026: Port Klang Authority was honoured to have our General Manager, Dato' Capt. K. Subramaniam, as a panellist at the AMEU Economics Summit 2026, participating in the panel discussion "Malaysia in the Middle: Navigating an Uncertain World."

The summit was officially launched by YB Tuan Haji Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir, Minister of Economy, and attended by over 300 economics undergraduates from Malaysia and abroad.

Congratulations to the Association of Malaysian Economics Undergraduates (AMEU) for successfully organising this meaningful student-led summit, providing a valuable platform for policymakers, industry leaders, academics and future economists to discuss Malaysia's economic future.

30 Julai 2026: Lembaga Pelabuhan Kelang (LPK) telah mengadakan Majlis Menandatangani Persetujuan Bersama Jadual Pelupusan Rekod (JPR) Urusan Fungsian antara LPK dengan Jabatan Arkib Negara Malaysia di Bilik Anjungan 1, Bangunan Annex LPK hari ini.

Pengurus Besar LPK, YBhg. Dato’ Kapt. K. Subramaniam, menyifatkan majlis ini sebagai satu pencapaian penting yang menandakan pemakaian rasmi JPR Urusan Fungsian LPK dengan kelulusan Jabatan Arkib Negara Malaysia. Beliau menyatakan bahawa pengiktirafan ini seterusnya memperkukuh tata kelola serta pengurusan rekod rasmi di dalam organisasi.

“Rekod rasmi merupakan dokumen penting yang merekodkan sejarah operasi utama serta berfungsi sebagai bahan bukti dan rujukan dalam memastikan tadbir urus pentadbiran maritim dan pelabuhan dilaksanakan dengan teratur dan berkesan”.

Pengurusan rekod yang cekap, bersistem dan dinamik merupakan nadi utama kepada tadbir urus sesebuah organisasi pentadbiran yang berjaya. Di LPK, sebagai antara pintu masuk maritim utama dunia, pelbagai maklumat, data strategik, dan dokumen penting diwujudkan setiap hari bagi menyokong penyampaian perkhidmatan kepada komuniti pelabuhan dan pihak industri,” katanya.

Majlis tersebut turut dihadiri oleh Ketua Pengarah Jabatan Arkib Negara Malaysia, YBrs. Tuan Haji Zaidin bin Mohd Noor, serta pengarah-pengarah bahagian Jabatan Arkib Negara Malaysia iaitu YBrs. 30 July 2026: Port Klang Authority (PKA) held a Signing Ceremony for the Mutual Agreement on the Functional Records Disposal Schedule between PKA and the National Archives of Malaysia at Bilik Anjungan 1, PKA Annex Building today.

PKA’s General Manager, YBhg. Dato’ Capt. K. Subramaniam, described the ceremony as a significant milestone, marking LPK’s official adoption of the Functional Records Disposal Schedule endorsed by the National Archives of Malaysia. He stated that this recognition further strengthens the governance and management of official records within the organization.
Official records are essential documents that capture key operational history and serve as evidence and reference in ensuring the proper governance of maritime and port administration.

Efficient, systematic and dynamic records management is the core of good governance for any successful organization. At PKA, as one of the world's major maritime gateways, a wide range of information, strategic data, and important documents are generated daily to support service delivery to the port community and the maritime industry.

The ceremony was also attended by YBrs. Tuan Haji Zaidin Mohd Noor, Director General of the National Archives of Malaysia, directors from various divisions of the National Archives of Malaysia: YBrs. Mr. Shahlin bin Ali, Deputy Director General (Planning and Management Sector); Ms. Gowri a/p P.S. Thangaya, Director of the Government Records Division; and YBrs. Mr. Saharudin bin Karsan, Director of the Planning and Coordination Division, as well as senior officers from both PKA and the National Archives of Malaysia.

26 Julai 2026 – Lembaga Pelabuhan Kelang (LPK) telah menyokong penganjuran SMG Mega Mangrove Cleanup 2026 sebagai Rakan Strategik, sekali gus menzahirkan komitmen berterusan terhadap pemeliharaan alam sekitar dan pembangunan mampan. Penyertaan LPK diketuai oleh En. Shaiful Nazri bin Shaari, Penolong Pengurus Besar (Kejuruteraan).

Program bertemakan “Restoring Ecosystems, Renewing Futures” ini telah diadakan di Mangrove Point, Hutan Simpan Raja Lumu, Pelabuhan Klang bersempena sambutan International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem dan International Day of Forests (Peringkat Negeri Selangor).

Program ini turut mencatat satu pencapaian membanggakan apabila diiktiraf oleh Malaysia Book of Records bagi kategori penyertaan terbesar dalam program pembersihan hutan paya bakau dengan penglibatan seramai 1,650 peserta.

Sokongan LPK bersama Westports Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. dan Northport (Malaysia) Bhd. mencerminkan komitmen bersama dalam memelihara ekosistem hutan paya bakau yang amat bernilai serta memastikan kelestarian biodiversiti kawasan pesisir negara.

Selain menyumbang kepada pemulihan habitat semula jadi, inisiatif seperti ini turut menyemarakkan semangat kesukarelawanan, meningkatkan kesedaran terhadap kepentingan pemuliharaan alam sekitar serta memperkukuh amalan tanggungjawab sosial korporat dalam kalangan warga kerja dan rakan strategik.

26 July 2026 – Port Klang Authority (PKA) supported the SMG Mega Mangrove Cleanup 2026 as a Strategic Partner, reaffirming its continued commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable development. The PKA delegation was led by Mr. Shaiful Nazri bin Shaari, Assistant General Manager (Engineering).

Held under the theme “Restoring Ecosystems, Renewing Futures,” the programme took place at Mangrove Point, Raja Lumu Forest Reserve, Port Klang in conjunction with the International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem and the International Day of Forests (Selangor State Celebration).

The event marked a significant milestone by earning recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records for the largest participation in a mangrove forest cleanup programme, bringing together 1,650 participants.

PKA's support, alongside Westports Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. and Northport (Malaysia) Bhd., reflects a shared commitment to protecting Malaysia's invaluable mangrove ecosystems and preserving the biodiversity of the nation's coastal environment.

Beyond restoring natural habitats, initiatives such as this foster the spirit of volunteerism, promote environmental awareness, and reinforce corporate social responsibility among employees and industry partners.

21 Julai 2026, Lembaga Pelabuhan Kelang (LPK) telah menghadiri Majlis Pecah Tanah Jajaran Seksyen D Projek Laluan Rel Pantai Timur (ECRL), yang menghubungkan Stesen Jalan Kastam ke Northport dan Westports, yang berlangsung hari ini di Kawasan Perindustrian Northport, Pelabuhan Klang.

Seksyen D merangkumi jajaran rel sepanjang 24.26 kilometer yang menghubungkan Stesen Jalan Kastam ke Northport dan Westports. Projek ini dijangka dapat meningkatkan kesalinghubungan rel ke Pelabuhan Klang, mempertingkatkan kecekapan pergerakan kargo, memperkukuh perkhidmatan logistik multimodal serta menyokong pertumbuhan ekonomi negara.

LPK telah diwakili oleh Pengurus Besar, YBhg. Dato' Capt. K. Subramaniam, Penolong Pengurus Besar (Korporat & Pembangunan), Encik Sri Muhunan dan Pengurus Kanan (Kejuruteraan), Encik Suhairi Nordin.

Pembangunan ini menandakan satu lagi pencapaian penting dalam usaha memperkukuh rangkaian pengangkutan bersepadu Malaysia serta mengukuhkan kedudukan Pelabuhan Klang sebagai gerbang maritim utama negara.

21 July 2026, Port Klang Authority attended the Groundbreaking Ceremony for Section D of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) Project, connecting Jalan Kastam Station to Northport and Westports, held today at the Northport Industrial Area, Port Klang.

Section D comprises a 24.26-kilometre rail connection linking Jalan Kastam Station to Northport and Westports. The project is expected to enhance rail connectivity to Port Klang, improve cargo movement efficiency, strengthen multimodal logistics services, and support the nation's economic growth.

Port Klang Authority was represented by General Manager YBhg. Dato' Capt. K. Subramaniam, Assistant General Manager (Corporate & Development) Mr. Sri Muhunan, and Senior Manager (Engineering) Mr. Suhairi Nordin.

The development marks another significant milestone in strengthening Malaysia's integrated transport network and reinforcing Port Klang's position as the nation's premier maritime gateway.
