200 Government Communication Officers Strengthen Crisis Management Skills in Sarawak

IPRM President Jaffri Amin was once again invited by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to deliver a keynote session at the SocGov Talk in Kuching, Sarawak. The session unveiled the 2026 Crisis Management Framework : a fresh, practical and future-ready approach designed to help organisations respond with speed, credibility and confidence in an era shaped by social media and AI.

More than 200 government communication officers participated in the highly interactive session, gaining practical tools, proven strategies and real-life insights to better manage crises before they escalate into reputation challenges. The programme also featured an impressive line-up of speakers from Meta Platforms Inc., TikTok Malaysia, Jabatan Penerangan Malaysia and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
