Menjelang sambutan Hari Kebangsaan ke-69, pada 28 Ogos yang lalu, warga MATRADE terus menyemarakkan iltizam dan semangat perpaduan menerusi Majlis ‘Flag-off’ Kembara Merdeka ke Tugu Negara.

​Satu konvoi bermotosikal yang terdiri daripada warga MATRADE, memulakan perjalanan simbolik dari Menara MATRADE menuju ke Tugu Negara sebagai lambang penghormatan kepada sejarah dan perjuangan tanah air. Pasukan konvoi juga sempat bergambar di hadapan Istana Negara.

​Syabas dan terima kasih diucapkan kepada Kelab MATRADE, Unit Pentadbiran serta Unit Komunikasi Korporat atas penganjuran majlis yang serba meriah ini.

​Setinggi-tinggi penghargaan dan terima kasih juga ditujukan kepada rakan strategik, Miaow Miaow Food Products Sdn Bhd dan Morning Arch Sdn Bhd atas sumbangan tajaan produk snek buat para peserta konvoi dan warga MATRADE. 🇲🇾🇰🇭 WRAPPING UP | EXPORT ACCELERATION MISSION (EAM) TO CAMBODIA 2026

Opening new pathways for Malaysian businesses in one of Southeast Asia’s promising markets, MATRADE successfully concluded the Export Acceleration Mission (EAM) to Cambodia 2026 from 18–21 August 2026. The mission brought together 26 Malaysian exporter companies to connect with Cambodian buyers, explore commercial opportunities and build partnerships that can drive stronger Malaysia–Cambodia trade.

✨ Key highlights included:
🔹 Business Seminar & B2B Meetings Session at Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh, connecting Malaysian exporters with potential Cambodian buyers and business partners.
🔹 High-level engagements with Cambodian government and business stakeholders to deepen bilateral trade and investment cooperation.
🔹 Networking sessions that strengthened connections between the Malaysian and Cambodian business communities.
🔹 The launch of the Malaysia Halal Corner, further promoting Malaysia’s capabilities and halal offerings in the Cambodian market.
🔹 Engagements with the Embassy of Malaysia in Cambodia and key stakeholders, whose support contributed greatly to the success of the mission.

The mission comes at an encouraging time for Malaysia–Cambodia trade. Bilateral trade reached RM5.0 billion in 2025, an increase of 27.4%, while trade in the first quarter of 2026 grew by 49% compared with the same period in 2025. Malaysia’s exports to Cambodia also increased by 46.1% to RM1.30 billion during the period.

EAM Cambodia 2026 reflects MATRADE’s continued commitment to supporting Malaysian businesses in expanding their global footprint, identifying new market opportunities and building sustainable partnerships.

A heartfelt thank you to the Embassy of Malaysia in Cambodia, Cambodian government agencies, business chambers, buyers, partners and all participating Malaysian companies for your invaluable support and cooperation. 🙏
