In Malaysia, many of us are deeply familiar with Halal-certified practices, and we fully respect the importance of Halal assurance within our Muslim community.
At Man Yun Space, we would like to share our food practice transparently for those who visit our space.
We are a small local business in Jalan Pantai that practices proper food hygiene and careful food handling standards. Our ingredients, meats, and supplies are sourced from local supermarkets and suppliers. We do not buy from any non-Halal sections of supermarkets, and we do not serve pork, lard, or alcohol in our ingredients and food preparation.
We also take extra care to minimise cross-contamination in our kitchen practices to ensure food safety and respect for our guests’ dietary considerations. Vegetarian options are also available for individuals who prefer plant-based meals due to religious, health, or personal choices.
We understand that Halal certification is important for many Muslims in Malaysia. At the same time, the Halal certification process can be extensive and financially challenging for some small business owners, especially independent non-Muslim-owned businesses.
As such, we believe transparency and informed choices are important. We encourage everyone to make food decisions according to their own comfort, values, and religious practices.
