71% of Selangor residents say going without plastics once a week is just not enough. We hear you loud and clear; so in 2017, Selangor will be be free of plastics and polystyrene 7 days a week. Tahukah anda, 71% penduduk Selangor mahu mengurangkan penggunaan beg plastik dan polistirena? Bermula tahun baru 2017, Negeri Selangor akan bebas beg plastik dan polistirena sepanjang minggu!

In conjunction with World Oceans Day 2018, MareCet will be having a Marine Education Fun Fair on 23 June (Saturday) at 土豆的秘密基地 Small Potato in the Secret Pot in Sungai Pelek, Sepang. Come on down to join us for all the fun and exciting activities throughout the day, play and learn about our ocean and marine environment! Everyone is welcome 😃

0900 - 0930: Opening
0930 - 1700 (all day): Conservation booth exhibition, interactive activities & photo booth
1000 - 1100: Coastal cleanup
1120 - 1230: Colouring & drawing contest
1130 - 1230: Post-cleanup trash sorting and data collection
1245: Light refreshment
1400 - 1540: 'A Plastic Ocean' documentary screening
1630 - 1700: Closing
