SIRIM continues to support industry efforts in strengthening consumer awareness of electrical product safety.

At the recent launch of Haier’s Horizon Collection at Sunway Pyramid, SIRIM was represented by En. Ahmad Syaifuldin Sakri, Senior Key Account Executive, who participated in a panel discussion on the importance of choosing electrical appliances with the relevant SIRIM certification as an assurance of safety, quality and compliance.

The engagement also provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives with industry stakeholders on developments in the electrical and smart home appliance sector.

SIRIM Berhad hari ini menerima kunjungan hormat daripada YB Dato Haji Razaili Haji Gaspor, Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri Beting Maro, Sarawak, di Ibu Pejabat SIRIM, Shah Alam. Turut serta dalam delegasi tersebut ialah Lembaga Pembangunan Sagu dan Nipah (SNDB) Sarawak yang diketuai oleh Dr. Hasawardi Hazmi, Pengurus SNDB, bersama Encik Jonathan Barath, Pegawai Tadbir SNDB dan Encik Mohammad Syafiq Khalik, Penolong Pegawai Tadbir SNDB.

Delegasi telah disambut oleh Puan Rafidah Mokhdar, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif SIRIM Academy, yang menyampaikan taklimat mengenai perkhidmatan dan penyelesaian yang ditawarkan oleh Kumpulan SIRIM.

Dalam sesi perbincangan strategik di antara SIRIM dan SNDB, tumpuan diberikan kepada aspek penjenamaan dan pelabelan produk, termasuk keperluan serta standard berkaitan bagi memastikan produk memenuhi tuntutan industri dan pasaran semasa.

A proud and meaningful moment at the Product Certification Scheme Certificate Presentation Ceremony, held in conjunction with the SIRIM Updates & Networking Session 2026 at Pullman Hotel, Kuching.

The ceremony celebrated organisations that have demonstrated their commitment to product quality, safety, compliance, industry standards and continuous improvement through the achievement of the SIRIM Product Certification Scheme.

The certificates were presented by ChM. Dr. Norshidah Baharuddin, Senior General Manager of Commercial Sales Department, SIRIM Berhad, and witnessed by Dr. Muhammad Azwan Ibrahim, Deputy Director of the National Metrology Institute of Malaysia (NMIM).

A proud and meaningful moment at the ISO 29001 Certificate Ceremony, held in conjunction with the SIRIM Updates & Networking Session 2026 at Pullman Hotel, Kuching.

Perdana Menteri Malaysia Kedua, Tun Abdul Razak Dato’ Hussein mengingatkan kita bahawa kemerdekaan yang kita kecapi bukanlah hak mutlak, tetapi anugerah yang terpelihara melalui perpaduan yang kukuh.
