May 2026 in 🇳🇦 was marked by national reflection, partnerships, and continued engagement for us at the British High Commission.

Highlights included commemorating Cassinga Day, Genocide Remembrance Day, and Africa Day, alongside our High Commissioner, Neil Bradley, marking one year in Namibia.

The month also featured Wellness Wednesday for the UK in Namibia team, a Central Bank dialogue, engagement with UNESCO, OYO and the Embassy of Finland, continuing to strengthen collaboration across sectors.

Today, The Queen Elizabeth II Commonwealth Trust is proud to spotlight our QECT 100 Young Leaders Awardee(s) 2026 from Namibia

As part of this special initiative marking the 100th birthday of our Founding Patron, Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we celebrate young leaders who embody her belief in the power of youth to shape a more inclusive and resilient future.

From Namibia, we are delighted to recognise:

✨ Leena Amwaalwa – Founder, Conscious Millennials

These inspiring changemakers are driving impact across key areas including education and employability, environment, health, food and agriculture, and inclusion.

We look forward to supporting their journeys as they continue to create meaningful change within their communities and beyond.
