High Commission of India organised 12th International Day of Yoga event on 21 June 2026 in Windhoek in Windhoek International School. Yoga enthusiasts from all walks of life joined the event in a large number.

High Commissioner spoke on this year’s theme of celebration - “Yoga for Healthy Ageing” and emphasised on the practice of yoga in daily life for health and wellbeing, and for achieving peace and happiness.

They are all set to conduct the special yoga session on the occasion of 12th International Day of Yoga on 21 June 2026 at the Windhoek International School sports field starting at 09:30 AM.

Completing the series of several run up events to commemorate 12th International Day of Yoga in Namibia, another special Yoga session was organised at the India Wing - JEDS campus of the University of Namibia (UNAM), Ongwediva.

Yoga practitioners comprising management, faculty and students of the university practiced and learnt the benefits of Yoga. Yoga session was conducted by Prof. Surendra Saini.
