Our Story
In 2017 Lighthouse Tutor Center was established for home schooled kids who either weren’t excepted into other school due to their age or learners who simply preferred homeschooling. When we started out, we only had four kids but that number quickly multiplied.
Soon we had to look for a bigger school area that was big enough for all 18 learners. It was a challenge but I believe we did good and tried our best to make it as comfortable yet professional as possible.
In June 2017 we decided to apply for registration as a private school because of the growing numbers of the learners.
We got approved on the 10th of January 2018 for Pre-primary, grade 1-3 and got special permission for grade 4-7 which was officially approved August 2018
