Whilst we don't have pictures of the whole operation we can try to explain.

Deep in the mountains this Borehole pump was stolen and in the process the PVC casing pipe was damaged and dropped into the Borehole along with some rocks. This causing the casing to be offset to the next one. Hence the new pump would not fit.

But with some ingenuity, a blow torch, patience, block and tackle and a heavy dose of good luck the pump was able to fit and water was restored 💪 💪

Last week marked the start of a long journey with lots of excitement and unusual challenges.🌩️ ⚡

12 lightning detection sensors are to be installed throughout Namibia with 12 locations to be reached and a total distance of 5800km to be driven.

The aim of the sensors is to collect lightning data such as the exact coordinate and timestamp of the strike, the intensity of the strike, number of strikes and whether the strike was a cloud to ground or a intracloud lighting strike.

Super cool to be a part of this project💪

With this being said we are on the road most of the day and quotes and enquiries will take longer than usual to respond to.

There is a love hate relationship with fault finding... No book or manual can teach you more about a system

This system was built in 2012-2015 and had a fault to ground with 4 different voltages causing the inverter to shut down. In this case there was water in 3 of the panels.... There is a first for everything.

We'll be heading back to replace the panels very soon 💪
