Day 6 at the Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair 2026. Today is not just another day at OATF 2026, it's Heroes' Day! We are pausing to honour the brave men and women who fought for the freedom we celebrate every single day at this fair.

This year's theme says it all: "Built on Bravery, Bound for a Prosperous Future" From the entrepreneurs taking bold risks on their stands, to the innovators showing off what Namibian hustle looks like, bravery is the theme of the week.

We caught up with a few members of the public to hear what Heroes' Day and what the day mean to them.

So today, we trade, we network, we shop... and we remember. Salute to our heroes, past and present!
