ASEPA was created on 16th March, 1992 in accordance with demand section 25 of the Decree No 58,1988 of the FEPA,with the primary responsibilities of inspecting,monitoring and enforcing environmental policies of Government,spanning the State's environment.

SHOCKING DISCOVERY AT NO. 16 IBADAN STREET, ABA

⚠️ VIEWER DISCRETION IS STRONGLY ADVISED.

The pictures and videos you are about to watch are not only offensive but highly disturbing.

Over 100 bags of human excreta/faeces were discovered at No. 16 Ibadan Street, Aba, improperly packed and stored within the compound. Shockingly, four basins containing human excreta were also discovered at their Corridor.

Even more disturbing, a sewage tank was discovered inside one of the downstairs rooms, directly beneath a bed where occupants sleep daily, despite being aware of the situation.

This is not merely an environmental violation; it is a serious public health concern capable of triggering an epidemic if left unchecked.

In a decisive move to prevent a possible outbreak and protect public health, the premises has been sealed today, 18th August, 2026, pursuant to a Court Order, pending the necessary corrective measures. The premises will be unsealed once the appropriate requirements have been met.

This is the New Abia.
