As a girl, your mum has warned you about the guy that newly packed in to your street. She had told you how she heard some people saying that the guy is bad and impregnates girls easily on getting the slightest chance.
You laughed,.." How can he be that sharp and smart?"..my mum believes rumour a lot.
The next day, you went to buy maggi down the road. While coming back, you saw this guy, you haven't seen this face around your street. Dude looks handsomely handsome😋. Just in time, he came close and introduced himself.
He was tall with the perfect muscular body just the way you want it, his lips looks pinkish and soft like that of Lee Min Ho your Korean Crush. His s*xy eyes and the way his lips move while talking..... Gosh! You fell flat, your wedding day has already gone perfectly well in your mind. In your fantasy you were now at the verge of "you may kiss your bride".. Your faces are now close to do the wedding kiss, in reality you are licking your lips and smiling sheepishly😊😊... But Dude call you back...
"Hey beautiful, I said do you live around?"... It struck you! You had been day dreaming that you didn't hear his question. You hastily pointed to your compound... He nods and said " okay can I have your number?" You quickly gave him.
Then he finally said "ok angel see you tomorrow". He wave at you, you wave back.....and smiled along.
Your voice was lost, you just kept smiling till you were few meters away...that was when you could mumble a " bye" in a voice you couldn't recognise as yours.
That night, after praying. You taught about the prince charming that you met today, then you remember... It could be same guy your mum was talking about but you shrug it off.....my prince charming is too handsome and innocent to do those things your mum said.
You fantasized about you people's wedding and honeymoon till you slept off.
The next day, you saw him at same spot, you wanted to hug him tightly and gist with him, but your mum's friend was passing by. You wouldn't want her to tell your mum that you are now standing with men. So you just wave at him and pass.
Two weeks later, you haven't seen your prince, his number was off and you don't know the exact place he lives, you kept hanging around the spot you met him but you never saw him.
Then the second day after the previous two weeks, that dark evening around seven (7pm). You have finished chores assigned to you and as usual you were still fantasizing about your prince. Just then your Nokia phone vibrates bringing you back to reality...you looked at it. It boldly displayed MY PRINCE CHARMING.
You jumped, danced before finally picking the call with a wide grin on your face. His voice was sweet as usual, he simply told you to come outside your compound that he wants to see you and give you something... You told him you will be there in two (2) seconds.
As you got to the living room, your mum was there. You were still thinking of the most appealing lie you will tell her before going out. Then her eyes caught you and she called you first..... "Chichi take this money and buy ogwu anwu (mosquito coil) for me.... If you like sleep there".
You happily left, it wasn't hard for you to locate your prince as you sighted him few meters away from your compound.
You ran, hugged and told him you would be back that you want to buy something. He replied with " no problem my love". Such a patient guy, you tell yourself.
You ran till you reached mama ngozi's shop, you told her what you came to buy. Being a very fat woman and none of her children were around, she searched the whole shop sluggishly before she found the coils. She handed it to you, went to her seat, sat down and took like eternity before untying the money she had tied to her waist before handing you your change.
You had already spent thirty (30) minutes there, just to buy mosquito coil... You cursed and eyed the woman inside your mind while leaving😒😒
Again, you ran till you reached where you left your Prince, he was still there. His patience made you love him more.
Without wasting time, he pulled you close. NEPA has taken light so you are not worried about people seeing you easily. He sweet talked you and you melted and now blushing real hard. He brought his lips close to kiss you. You knew it was not right but you couldn't resist him because you are mad over him😍
You looked around to know if anyone was close, none except a human like figure that was standing not too far from you people, you strained your eyes to know if it was really someone but your prince turned your face and crashed his lips with yours....the butterflies in your stomach were now singing and dancing, the sweet feelings blocked your brain, the kiss was intense and lovely.
Then came the flashlight, it was too bright and steady. You quickly noticed that it came from the direction you saw an unclear figure before. You quickly disentangled yourself from him.
The person was close now, then you heard the voice "Chichi so ife a bu ogwu anwu msi gi jee gote? (so this is the mosquito coil I sent you to go and buy?). And you are busy enjoying yourself here.
And you, Mr man so they have sent you to my daughter right, go and tell them she is not available and show them this when you reach".
She brought out the other hand she had been keeping at her back since she came close to you people. She was holding a big stick and being very fast enough it landed on the boys head...tiny blood were beginning to come out already.... He used his palm to cover the injury and ran away, crying on top......you felt like laughing at the way he was running and crying but you dare not, your mum was still there.
She turned, looked at you for what took like eternity, and finally dragged you home by the ear.
Deep in your heart, you had promised to give your life to Christ, if you survive the deep mess you have landed yourself into.
When will our youths stop been attracted to mere looks?
