SELF-ESTEEM
Self-esteem is the capacity to respect and think well of yourself. It means that you appreciate
yourself as a unique individual with your own set of skills, talents, and abilities. David
Burns defines self-esteem as “the capacity to experience maximal self-love and joy whether
or not you are successful at any point in your life.”
Psychologist Maxine Elliott has researched self-esteem and realized that people’s self-esteem
will vary from individual to individual when they are facing a setback. People who have a
high level of self-esteem will be able to respond to a damaging event by using their past
experience and their coping abilities and will not have much damage to their current level
of self-esteem. They will still see themselves as valuable and talented even if the current
evidence seems to indicate otherwise.

The moment you agree to date a married man,

Now look at it this way.
If he is with you and his wife calls, he lies that
he is still in the office or on an official
assignment. u dare not interrupt his conversation
or quarry him but you can't call him when he is

He sneaks you from his car into his hotel room
but gives his wife his entire home...... My sister grow up please
He visits you at home and you introduce him to
friends and neighbors as your boyfriend thereby
blocking your chances of getting a genuine suitor
yet you don't even know the name of the street
where he lives..... My sister how long will you continue to
sacrifice your future?
He takes you out and buys you assorted types of
alcoholic drinks yet he will never allow his wife
taste even a bottle of alcoholic drink, common
sense should tell you he is only doing that to get
you drunk so he can truly destroy you in bed.... My sister Na your body good pass for
experiment?
He gets you pregnant and gives you money for
abortion but when his wife gets pregnant he
celebrates and gives her money for antenatal and
baby things....... My sister remember he is already raising his
family oh

NAKED TRUTH

*Strange things we do in Africa in the name of "It's Our Culture*

*1. We care more for the dead than we do for the living!*

*2. We spend more to bury a person than we do to save their life.*

*3. We will not travel to go see a sick relative but will travel to bury him /her*

*4. People will rarely respect you while alive but will want to "pay their last respects" to your casket.*

*5. A person may NEVER receive roses in their entire life but they will get lots dumped on their graveyard!*

*6. We will spend a night at a neighbour's funeral and it will be our first time to see the inside of their house!*

*7. No one gives a damn to know your village until you die and they will all fill car after car to "es**rt" your co**se*

*8. We will take the dead to the mosque/temple/church knowing fully well they had nothing to do with worship while alive.*

*9. We might not have granite tops in our kitchens but use the granite in the graveyard!*

*10. An entire village might not have a single house with cement floors but the only place with cement will be a graveyard!*

Put a frog in bucket of water n start heating the water. As d temperature of d water is rising, d frog is able to adjust it's body temperature accordingly. The frog kips on adjusting with d increase in temperature... just when d water is about to reach boiling point, d frog is not able to adjust anymore.... @ dat point d frog decides to jump out...d frog tries to jump but is unable to so because it has lost its strength in adjusting with d rising water temperature....soon d frog dies.

What killed d frog?
Many of us will say d boiling water... but d truth about what killed d frog was it's inability to decide when to jump out.

We all nid to adjust with people n situation but we need to be sure wen we nid to adjust and wen we need to jump out. There are times wen we nid to face situations n take appropriate action....if we allow people to exploit us, mentally, physically, emotionally & financially, they will continue to do so. We have to decide when to jump n do so while u still av d strength.

while in a relationship & love isn't reciprocated after giving it ur best, Pls walk away while u can!!

TO THE MARRIED COUPLES AND THOSE GETTING READY TO GET MARRIED.
I just feel like preaching about relationships to someone today.
Love is a choice, not emotions. Let's get this fixed right.
When you get married to someone, you will still and always meet people out there looking better, more beautiful, richer, more handsome, taller and stronger than your spouse.
GUYS: When gets married, you will still come across beautiful ladies. They're not necessarily better than your wife, you know? ...they are just s*xuallly available. And say the sweet words you want to hear.
LADIES: When you get married, the rich, tall, six pack, strong and handsome men will still be around admiring you and wish you were theirs.
MY ADVICE:
When you get married, the only thing that keeps you married are these two words (CHOICE AND DECISION). You have chosen him or her out of the millions out there and Decided to marry him or her. Period!
I heard people saying they always wear their marriage ring to scare people away. It doesn't work in this our generation. Those folks on the streets have nothing to do with your ring,...they want you, not your ring?
But since you have made your choice, keep it. Respect your decision.
Stop dressing funny to attract guys, because you will end up ruining your relationship.
