Occupy Progressive Ogun State Chapter Welcomes Commissioner for Youth & Social Development, SSA, DG and South West Coordinator of Occupy Progressive
In a significant stride toward youth engagement and development, the Ogun State Chapter of Occupy Progressive played host to the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Hon. Mobolaji, alongside the Senior Special Assistant on Youth and Social Development Alabi Opeyemi Oladimeji
The meeting, held in an atmosphere of collaboration and shared vision, was also graced by the Director General of Occupy Progressive, Mr. Michael Olugbenga Peter , and the South-West Coordinator, Engr. Osho Taiwo Olusegun Horshman
The interactive session focused on deepening partnerships between the government and youth-led organizations to foster inclusive development, empowerment programs, and greater participation of young people in governance and community transformation. Hon. Mobolaji commended the efforts of Occupy Progressive in mobilizing and empowering youth across Ogun State and expressed readiness to support initiatives that align with the Ministry's objectives.
Mr. Michael Olugbenga Peter , in his remarks, emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between policy and grassroots action, assuring the Commissioner of Occupy Progressive’s commitment to driving sustainable youth-focused interventions. Engr. Osho echoed these sentiments, highlighting the need for regional collaboration to harness the full potential of young people across the South-West.
This engagement marks a new chapter in strengthening government-civil society relations, ensuring that youth are not just beneficiaries but active participants in shaping the future of Ogun State.
