*WDC OGUN STATE CHAIRMAN COMMENDS STRONG PARTNERSHIP AT AGBARA HEALTH CENTRE, INSPECTS NESTLÉ-FUNDED HEALTH PROJECT*

*The State Chairman of the Ward Development Committee (WDC), Ogun State Council, Alhaji Asiwaju Dapo Wahab, JP, on Tuesday paid a Quality Assurance Visit to Agbara Health Centre in Agbara, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area, as part of the Council's commitment to strengthening Primary Health Care services across Ogun State.*
The State Chairman was warmly received by members of the *WDC Agbara, led by the Ward Chairman, Mr. Olufemi Adewunmi.* Also participating in the visit was the *State Vice Chairman, Hon. Kayode Ojumo,* who joined virtually and appreciated the State Chairman for extending the quality assurance exercise to Agbara Ward.
During the visit, Alhaji Asiwaju Dapo Wahab commended the cordial working relationship between the Ward Development Committee and the health workers at the facility, led by the *Officer-in-Charge, Matron Adeosun A. O.* He described the strong collaboration as a model worthy of emulation and encouraged both parties to sustain the peaceful partnership, noting that effective cooperation among stakeholders remains essential for improving Primary Health Care service delivery.
The WDC Chairman, Mr. Olufemi Adewunmi, and the Officer-in-Charge expressed appreciation to the State Chairman for the visit, describing it as a demonstration of responsive leadership. They assured him of their continued commitment to supporting the objectives of the Ward Development Committee as partners in progress.
As part of the visit, the State Chairman and his team paid a courtesy visit to the palace of *HRM Oba Barr Lukman Jayeola Agunbiade Olute III Alagbara of Agbara* to appreciate the traditional ruler for his unwavering support to the Ward Development Committee and the development of the health facility within the community.
The delegation also inspected the ongoing construction project at *Agbara Health Centre being executed by Nestlé Nigeria Plc* as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. The project, facilitated through the efforts of the WDC Agbara, is expected to enhance the infrastructure and quality of healthcare services available to residents of the community.
The Ward Development Council, Ogun State Council, reaffirmed its commitment to promoting effective community participation, strategic partnerships, and continuous quality improvement in Primary Health Care facilities across all communities in Ogun State.
