SDS - Social Welfare Department in Collaboration with NEAR Foundation, owners of NIZAMIYE HOSPITAL AND NIGERIA TURKISH International School, distributed packaged food for the 2025 Ramadan to 400 Persons with Disabilities in FCT.

These categories of persons include the visually impaired, Physically Challenged, Deaf and Dumb and other vulnerable persons at Old Parade Ground Para Soccer pitch, Area 10, Garki, Abuja.

SDS RECEIVES NASS COMMITTEE ON FCT.

Inter-Governmental relations amongst the various arms of government is crucial to the developmental tenets of democracy.

In the light of this, the Top Management Staff of SDS led by the Mandate Secretary Hon. Ibrahim Aminu and the PS Olowookere Olubunmi, played host to the House of Representative Committee on FCT as they kick-start their oversight functions across the SDA's of the FCT.

The Management received the entourage of the committee, and furthered discussions from staffing, budgeting, revenue and other activities involving the core mandate of the Secretariat.

The meeting also involved a tour around the facilities of the Secretariat with a recommendation for the structures to be upgraded for full optimization of same among staff.

The strategic meeting was rescheduled for next week at the Committee hearing room in the National Assembly.

The Permanent Secretary, SDS, Olowookere Olubunmi, led a delegation of SDS Top Management Staff on a Courtesy Call to the Chinese Embassy in Abuja.

The delegation include, the Director of Administration, Mr. Shindali Nasiru, the Ag. Director Arts & Culture Department, Mrs. Lilian Edoh, the Ag. Director, Tourism Department, Mrs. Nenadi Ann Dogo & some mgt.staff of the Secretariat.

They were received at the Embassy by *Mr. Young Jiang Xing*(Cultural Counsellor),
Ms.Wu Yi jun, (Cultural Attache) and
Ms.Wang Luodi, (cultural Attache)

MANAGEMENT MEETING OF 9/01/2025.
Earlier today, the Mandate Secretary FCTA Social Development Secretariat , Hon. Ibrahim Aminu & Permanent Secretary, SDS, MS. Olowookere Olubunmi, held the very first Top Management Meeting with the Directors of the various Departments and Heads of Units of the Secretariat.

Emphasis was on synergy between the various Departments of the Secretariat and the need to work as a TEAM in other to ACHIEVE the mandate of Secretariat in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu through the Hon. Minister of the FCT.
