Widows in rural Nigeria face numerous challenges that often go unnoticed. These resilient women endure social, economic, and psychological hardships after losing their life partners. Today, we shed light on their plight, backed by statistics and sources, emphasizing the need for attention and support.

1. Social Isolation and Stigma:

2. Economic Hardships:

Yesterday, we had a deeply inspiring counselling session with some incredible women who are part of our outreach program. It was a time of profound sharing, support, and healing.

In a safe and nurturing environment, these women courageously opened up about their experiences, their struggles, and their journey towards healing. We listened with empathy, providing a shoulder to lean on and a compassionate ear to hear their stories.

Together, we explored ways to overcome challenges, build resilience, and empower ourselves. It was a beautiful reminder of the strength and resilience that lies within each and every one of us. By coming together, we found solace and strength in our shared experiences.

We witnessed the transformative power of connection and realized that by lifting each other up, we can overcome the darkest of times. It's incredible how a sense of community can create a space where healing begins, where wounds start to mend, and where hope shines brightly.
