Today in Keffi, Nasarawa State, we commissioned a city of hope—not just housing. A home for our displaced citizens. A symbol of dignity restored.

Named after the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, this Renewed Hope Resettlement City reminds every IDP: you are seen, you are heard, you belong.

In partnership with the Digital Bridge Institute, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction have successfully graduated a new generation of digitally skilled Nigerians that are equipped, empowered, and ready to lead in the digital economy under our Skills to Wealth initiative.

This initiative is a core part of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, focused on giving our people the tools to rise as job creators, problem solvers, and innovators.

This is how we will fight poverty; sustainably, inclusively, and through knowledge.

Congratulations to all our digital trailblazers. The Ministry stands firmly behind you today and in the future.

On the directive of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I visited Niger State today alongside my colleague, the Hon. Minister of Information and National Orientation, , to commiserate with the government and people of the state over the devastating floods that struck Mokwa Local Government Area.

Our visit followed an earlier on-the-spot assessment by the Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), who briefed Mr. President on the tragic loss of over 150 lives, displacement of more than 3,000 persons, and extensive destruction of homes, roads, and critical infrastructure.

We were received by the Deputy Governor, Mr. Yakubu Garba, and assured the state government of the unwavering support of the Federal Government. President Tinubu conveys his heartfelt condolences and deep concern for all affected and has directed additional deployment of resources to support immediate relief efforts.

I also held discussions on areas of additional humanitarian interventions for the displaced, including long-term recovery. We are engaging international humanitarian and development partners to complement government efforts and bring lasting relief to our people in Mokwa.

Today, on , we launched the National Home Grown School Feeding Programme (Alternate Education Programme), a Renewed Hope promise in action.

We are reached out-of-school children among the herders in Karsana II with learning, nutrition, and identity, proving that no child is too far to be found.

This is how we build a future where every child learns, eats, grows, and thrives.

Today in Lagos, I launched the Skill-to-Wealth Programme under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda , a transformative initiative designed to equip Nigerians with hands-on skills in agribusiness, solar installation, and automechanics.

The training spans 3 weeks, includes starter packs, and is being implemented across all six geopolitical zones of Nigeria.

This is how we move people from learning to earning, and from potential to prosperity.
