🌍✨ The African First Ladies Peace Mission (AFLPM-MIPREDA) is proud to welcome its very first tenant at its edifice building, the Conference of Speakers and Presidents of African Legislatures (COSPAL).

The historic lease agreement was officially signed by Her Excellency, Dr. Jewel Howard-Taylor, the Secretary-General of AFLPM-MIPREDA, and Amb. Dapo Oyewole, the Secretary-General of COSPAL.

This partnership marks the beginning of a powerful alliance that will foster collaboration, unity, and greater synergy for peace and progress across Africa.

We extend our deepest condolences to Dr. Mrs. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, Chairperson of the AFLPM-MIPREDA Honorary Advisory Council, on the passing of her beloved husband, His Excellency, former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.

His legacy of service, dedication to peace, and commitment to the African continent will forever be remembered.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, the people of Nigeria, and all who mourn this great loss.

AFLPM-MIPREDA joins millions of women and human (humane) rights advocate to commemorate the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Ge***al Mutilation 2025.

We must continue to advocate for policies that protect the girl child. We must continue to campaign against harmful cultural practices through dialogue and community engagements.

The absence of Peace isn't just through conflict and wars, but also through the absence of the value and respect for one's human right.

In line with this year's theme, Stepping Up the Pace: Strengthening Alliances and Building Movements to End Female Ge***al Mutilation, we must continue to work together to ensure FGM is a thing of the past.
