NORTHWEST STAKEHOLDERS FORUM HONOURS CHPRBN REGISTRAR/CEO FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE.

The Association of Northwest Stakeholders Forum of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria has honoured the Registrar/CEO of the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria, Professor Bashir Idris (Lifidin Jama’a), in recognition of his outstanding academic excellence and exemplary leadership in advancing the community health profession.
The honour was conferred during a brief but significant presentation ceremony, where the Forum presented souvenirs and a roll of banners as a mark of appreciation for his remarkable contributions to professional development, regulatory innovation, and capacity building within the sector.
Speaking during the presentation, the Chairman of the Forum, Alhaji Abdulkadir Isa, commended Professor Idris for his unwavering commitment to academic distinction and institutional transformation. He noted that the Registrar’s achievements continue to inspire community health practitioners across the Northwest region and beyond.
Also speaking, Dr Abdullahi Umar Kankia described Professor Idris as a visionary leader whose dedication to excellence has repositioned CHPRBN as a forward-looking regulatory institution. He emphasised that the recognition was well-deserved, given the Registrar’s consistent efforts in promoting education, professionalism, and service delivery in the health sector.
In his response, Professor Bashir Idris expressed deep appreciation to the Association for the honour, describing it as a motivation to further strengthen the Board’s mandate and continue championing reforms that will enhance the quality of community health practice in Nigeria.
