The Honourable Minister Bitrus Jisalo’s Visit to the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI)

*The Honourable Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Rt. Hon. Zephaniah Bitrus Jisalo*, paid a courtesy visit to the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), accompanied by the *Permanent Secretary, Dr. Onwusoro Maduka Ihemelandu*, following an invitation by the Chamber to strengthen collaboration between the Ministry and the organized private sector.

During the visit, the Honourable Minister was briefed on the Chamber’s programmes and initiatives aimed at promoting trade, investment, entrepreneurship, and economic growth. In recognition of his contributions to national development and support for private sector development, he was inducted as a Fellow of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FACCI).

The visit also provided an opportunity to explore areas of mutual interest and partnership geared towards advancing economic development and enterprise growth.

FMSDIGA Unveils 2023–2025 Compendium, Presents Annual Status Report on Zonal Intervention and Constituency Projects

Abuja, June 16, 2026

The Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs (FMSDIGA) has unveiled its 2023–2025 Compendium and presented the Annual Status Report on Zonal Intervention and Constituency Projects under the theme: “Actualising President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda Through the Implementation of Zonal Interventions/Constituency Projects.”

Speaking at the event in Abuja, the Honourable Minister, Rt. Hon. Zephaniah Bitrus Jisalo, described the occasion as a demonstration of the Ministry’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective monitoring of Federal Government intervention projects across key sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, water supply, rural electrification, and community development.

Presenting the Annual Status Report, the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Onwusoro Maduka Ihemelandu, highlighted significant improvements in project implementation between 2023 and 2025, driven by reforms that strengthen project verification and certification processes. He also identified key implementation challenges and proposed measures to enhance compliance, collaboration, and digital project monitoring.

Delivering remarks on behalf of the Wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, the Wife of the Vice President, Hajiya Nana Kashim Shettima, commended the Ministry for the initiative, describing the Compendium as a major step towards strengthening accountability, transparency, and effective service delivery nationwide.

The event concluded with the formal unveiling of the 2023–2025 Compendium, reaffirming the Federal Government’s commitment to effective project delivery and the successful implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
