정요안 대사는 8.14.(금) 기업지원회의를 개최하여 나이지리아 진출 우리 기업인들과 현지 경영 여건 및 주요 현안을 논의하고, 기업 활동 과정에서 겪고 있는 애로사항과 건의사항을 청취하였습니다. 정 대사는 우리 기업들이 안정적으로 활동하고 현지에서 더욱 활발히 사업을 확대해 나갈 수 있도록 대사관 차원에서 적극 지원해 나가겠다고 밝혔습니다.

Amb. Jeong held a meeting with Korean business representatives in Nigeria to discuss the local business environment and key issues facing Korean companies, as well as to listen to their concerns and suggestions. He reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to supporting Korean companies in Nigeria and helping them operate successfully and expand their business activities in the country.

정요안 대사는 7.13.(월) Nnamdi Ezechi 한-나이지리아 의회친선협회장(하원의원)을 만나 양국 간 의회 교류 및 대사관-의회친선협회 간 협력 강화 방안에 대해 논의하였습니다. 정 대사는 우리 기업 및 개발협력 사업 일환으로 이루어지고 있는 직업훈련, 기술교육 등 청년 역량 강화 사업을 소개하였습니다.

Amb. Jeong met with Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi, Chairman of the Korea–Nigeria Parliamentary Friendship Group, to discuss parliamentary exchanges and closer cooperation between the Embassy and the Group.

He also introduced vocational training and technical education programs supported by Korean companies and Korea's development cooperation initiatives to empower Nigerian youth.

Amb. Jeong welcomed Dr. Mohammed Bello Shehu, OFR, Chairman, and Amb. Desmond Akawor, Federal Commissioner, of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) to the Embassy. They exchanged views on ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
