MISSIONARY JOURNEY TO BARIGADA VILLAGE, IN KWALI AREA COUNCIL, ABUJA.
I and my never ending/fading beautiful wife with RURAL CHILDREN MINISTRY (RCM) went on a missionary journey to Barigada village on Saturday 12th of May, 2018 and it was really a wonderful experience for us.
I was so happy that we were able to feed about 200 children who can't remember how many times in a week they eat rice or even drink clean water not to talk of when they drink very nice and well made Kunu.
I love the way they want to know God and how joyful they were to know that when you have Jesus, you have a clean heart. They sang songs, had fun and also prayed for Nigeria.
Three things broke my heart about this village.
1) They didn't have a bridge to cross to their village except Canoes (2) and the canoes they have are not so good, they need new ones. They do not even have a life jacket to protect those that can't swim in case of accidents.
2) They don't have electricity and portable water. They have to drink the very water from the very very dirty river. I wish i had the resources to dig boreholes there for them, even if its one.
3) They don't even have pit toilets not to talk of WC.
If you can help with any of this things for people in this village, please contact me and i will direct you to the appropriate persons who can help you achieve what you intend to do. Please let us help those we can while we can.
Asides this, i was happy to see those kids happy and joyful.
