Egg rolls at ₦400?
I was in the market when a someone called an egg roll seller and asked how much her egg rolls were.
The seller said ₦400.
When I heard the price, I looked at the seller, then at those beautiful, attractive egg rolls.
As a snack seller myself, I decided to buy one and taste it. I wanted to know what made her to sell egg rolls for ₦400.
In my mind, I said, “Patapata, the egg inside will be very small and probably low quality.”
But NO....😳
The egg inside was big, rich and delicious. And No YEAST recipe.
I became curious, so I asked her if she have a poultry farm? Or produce any of the ingredients herself? Or sell in bulk to resellers?”
She said NO.
I asked again, “Then why are you selling this rich and delicious egg roll for ₦400?”
She gave me a smile, crashed her head and said, “Aunty, I know what I’m doing.
If you want to buy two sef, I’ll give you ₦700.”
When I heard that, I just ran away🏃♀️. Too much awuf dey run belle🤣.
But seriously, that egg roll was really good and I’m wondering what her secret is🤷.
