EX-STUDENT GIVES BACK: GSS BWARI RECEIVES 14-SEATER PI-CNG-EV HYBRID BUS

A Joyful Day of Giving Back to Alma Mater It was a joyful and memorable occasion at Government Secondary School (GSS) Bwari as the school received a 14-seater PI-CNG-EV (Hybrid) bus, generously donated by an ex-student, Barrister Ismaeel Buba Ahmed, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas–Electric Vehicles (PI-CNG-EV).
The presentation was witnessed by the Principal, Mrs Okedo Helen Nkoli, members of the school management and staff, the PTA Chairman, Mr Garba, his Vice Chairman, the PTA Bus Committee Chairman, Bishop David Akin Assore, and members of his team. Alhaji Isiyaku Abubakar Zango (Sardauna of Bwari) also played a significant role in following up with the donor until the successful presentation of the bus.
Overwhelmed with Joy.
.The Principal, Mrs Okedo Helen Nkoli, was visibly moved to tears of joy while delivering her appreciation speech. She thanked God Almighty for the remarkable achievement and expressed profound gratitude to the donor, his team and all those who contributed to making the donation possible. She also appreciated the management, members of staff and students of GSS Bwari for their endurance, commitment and continued support for the progress of the school. Alhaji Isiyaku stated that more Support is coming from the alumni.
During the presentation, the bus documents and keys were handed over to the Principal. Alhaji Isiyaku Abubakar Zango thanked God Almighty and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as an effort to bring the dividends of democracy closer to Nigerians following the removal of fuel subsidy. He further announced that computers and internet facilities would be provided to GSS Bwari the following week, promising continued support for the development of the school. Students Express Appreciation The Head Girl and Head Boy of the school also expressed their gratitude to God and appreciated the donor, the school management, the PTA and everyone who contributed to the successful donation.
The closing prayer was led by Alhaji Ndaagi. It was a Celebration to Remember. Members of the school community and guests danced, sang and celebrated the landmark achievement together until about 8:00 p.m.
The donation stands as a remarkable example of an ex-student giving back to his alma mater and contributing to the educational development and welfare of present and future students of GSS Bwari.
